<p>The 2A division features some of the most passionate fans and some talented players. After suffering 3 defeats to Incline during the regular season, West Wendover proved that the 4th time is a charm, getting the monkey off their back, defeating the Highlanders in last year’s title game. In this article, we look at the returning assist leaders in the 2A division. </p>
<p>Ethan Ryan <em>6’2 PG Calvary Chapel Christian 2021</em> - The 6’2 playmaker returns as the leading assist man in 2A. He had a season-high 111 assist against Laughlin on his way to averaging nearly 5apg last year. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="859669" first="Declan" last="Sawin"] <em>6’2 SF The Founders School 2022</em> (#61PHN 2022) - Swain had a huge impact on TFS season. He scored, grabbed boards, and also led the way with 4.4apg</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="986768" first="Brody" last="Thralls"] <em>5’11 SG Incline 2022 (#61PHN 2022) - </em>Thralls was a key contributor to the Highlander’s run to the state title game. He controlled the ship with a steady hand, eventually finishing the season with 4.3apg. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="859650" first="Torak" last="TT Valosek"] <em>6’3 SG Incline 2022</em> (#22PHN 2022) <em>(featured image)</em> - Valosek is one of the top overall players in 2A. He powered the Highlanders to the state title game last year, showing that he can do it in all facets of the game. The power guard finished the season with 4.3apg. </p>
<p>Anthony Edmundson <em>5’4 PG The Founders School</em> - Edmundson was effective in the games he played. He was also consistent, evident by the 7 games he had last year with 5 or more assists, en route to averaging 4.2apg. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927166" first="Kobe" last="Kelley"] <em>5’10 PG Lincoln County 2021</em> (#85PHN 2021) - Kelley is a solid floor general who averaged just over 4 APG. His 26 assists over a 4 game stretch last year showed off his playmaking ability. </p>
<p>Carlton Moore <em>Mountain View Christian 2021 - </em>The MVC star had several big assist games last year, including 7 against Doral, 8 against Indian Springs, and 9 against Word of Life. He finished the season just over the 4apg mark. </p>
