<p>A big, 6-4 lead guard, Chance can see above the defense, allowing him to find open teammates all over the floor. He’s a very skilled passer who sees the floor extremely well and loves to get others involved. </p>
<p><strong>2.) [player_tooltip player_id="965117" first="Garrison" last="Tripp"] (South Hardin, 2021) - 5.9 assists per game</strong></p>
<p>In addition to his passing prowess, Tripp is a great 3-point shooter, knocking down 41% of his attempts from behind the arc last year. He’s one of the key pieces returning for a Tigers team that will be among the best in 2A.</p>
<p><strong>3.) [player_tooltip player_id="964895" first="Brady" last="Millikin"] (Pekin, 2021) - 5.4 assists per game</strong></p>
<p>Millikin was the standout for a Pekin team that made a deep run in the 1A postseason last year. He’ll pace a good Panthers attack again this year, equally adept at scoring or facilitating. </p>
<p><strong>4.) Ethan Espenscheid (East Marshall, 2021) - 5.3 assists per game</strong></p>
<p>Espenscheid was a bright spot in a rebuilding year for the Mustangs, dishing out over 5 assists a game.</p>
<p><strong>5.) Caylor Clark (Pleasantville, 2021) - 5.3 assists per game</strong></p>
<p>Clark will pair with junior guard [player_tooltip player_id="962684" first="Mason" last="Scheve"] to give the Trojans one of the better backcourts in the class. </p>
<p><strong>6.) Clayton Bosma (Unity Christian, 2021) - 4.9 assists per game</strong></p>
<p>There’s no doubt who the primary ball-handling option is for the Knights, as Bosma dished out nearly three times more assists than any other player on the roster. </p>
<p><strong>7.) [player_tooltip player_id="964847" first="Creed" last="Welch"] (Waukon, 2021) - 4.9 assists per game</strong></p>
<p>Welch was the leader for the Indians 2A football champions, and is the leader on the hardwood as well, putting up 15.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists a game last season.</p>
<p><strong>8.) [player_tooltip player_id="796138" first="Noah" last="Miller"] (Forest City, 2021) - 4.9 assists per game</strong></p>
<p>Forest City is known for taking care of the ball and playing great defense, and those are two areas that Miller excels, posting a 2.5-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio and swiping 2.8 steals a game.</p>
<p><strong>9.) Carter Gallagher (Columbus Catholic, 2022) - 4.5 assists per game</strong></p>
<p>Gallagher struggled a bit with turnovers last season, but he does a great job looking to get others involved at a high level. </p>
<p><strong>10.) Jaxon Carpenter (Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, 2022) - 4.4 assists per game</strong></p>
<p>Carpenter is the primary ball-handling option for a Cowboys team that should be one of the most improved teams in 2A.</p>
