GHSA 7A Season Preview: 2021 Player Rankings

<p><strong>GHSA Season Preview: Player Rankings 2021</strong><br /> As the 2020-21 GHSA high school basketball season quickly approaches we will breakdown each classification based on our updated player rankings, highlighting the Top 100.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Class 7A<br /> </strong></span><br /> McEachern places threes players in the top 12 and four in the top 65. Though they all play pretty much the same position, each have the ability to put up big numbers and attack offensively in a variety of ways. Pebblebrook boasts four players with No. 21 [player_tooltip player_id="806718" first="Danny" last="Stubbs"] (Georgia State), No. 23 [player_tooltip player_id="754278" first="Jamall" last="Clyce"] (Georgia State), No. 33 [player_tooltip player_id="754256" first="Tyler" last="Shirley"] (South Alabama) and No. 63 [player_tooltip player_id="754283" first="Blake" last="Hadley"]. The Falcons have great length throughout the lineup and are a veteran group. Non-traditional power Cherokee sees No. 10 [player_tooltip player_id="869583" first="Elijah" last="Tucker"] (Xavier) and No. 13 [player_tooltip player_id="754245" first="Taihland" last="Owens"] carry the group. If the Warriors are to compete with the big boys this season, their homegrown duo will have to lead the way. Grayson has two D-I bigs in No. 8 [player_tooltip player_id="754255" first="Ian" last="Schieffelin"] (Clemson) and No. 60 [player_tooltip player_id="806743" first="Taje" last="Kelly"] (Charleston Southern). The frontcourt has gotten crowded with some transfers and young players, but the two seniors will be cornerstones for the defense.
