Class 2A – Region 7 Preview

<p>Class 2-Region 7 could be wide open this season. Will the Lee Central HS Stallions play basketball this coming season ? The Marion HS Swamp Foxes have a great duo back in the mix and a new Head Coach Andy Bostick. Thomas a staple here since his freshman season really stuffed the state sheet last season. Thomas averaged 17.8 ppg, 7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.5 steals for the Stallions. Washington and Sanders provide a great duo in the Class 2A ranks this coming season. Sanders recorded a double-double last season. after averaging 16.5 ppg and 12 rebounds. Sanders sounds to be playing hoops this season and not enrolling early into USC for classes and spring classes. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840239" first="Trey" last="Miles"] (2021) - Latta HS  (pictured on the front) </strong></p> <p>Miles has been the go-to guy for the Vikings the past few years. Miles averaged 17.8 ppg and 12.3 rebounds last year for Head Coach Chris German. Miles a left-handed forward does his best work around the paint area and seems most effective from 10-12 feet in. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="995373" first="Jaheim" last="Dixon"] (2021) - Lee Central HS (Bishopville)</strong></p> <p>Dixon a slender-sleek forward is back in the paint for the Stallions this season. Dixon is a quick leaper off the floor. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="843648" first="Rodney" last="Giles Jr."] (2021) - Andrews HS </strong></p> <p>Giles Jr a left-handed guard will have to pickup some of the scoring punch this season for the Yellow Jackets. Giles Jr is currently playing football for the Yellow Jackets in the opening round of the Football playoffs this week.</p> <p><strong>Kheauris Cross (2021) - Mullins HS </strong></p> <p>Cross a undersized post averaged 7.6 ppg and 5 rebounds last year for the Auctioneers. Cross has good hands and thick frame in the post. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840268" first="Alim" last="Legette"] (2021) - Mullins HS </strong></p> <p>Legette a football prospect it looks to be down the road is back in the red white and blue uniform this season. Legette averaged 6.3 ppg and 5.5 rebounds last season on the hardwood. Legette has received strong interest from Coastal Carolina University and Gardner Webb on the football field. </p> <p><strong>CJ Faulton (2021) - Kingstree HS </strong></p> <p>Faulton will be guy this season for the Jaguars and new Head Coach Jonathan Adkins. Thomas averaged 16.4 ppg and 3.3 assists last season.
