Donovan Jones Donovan Jones 6'0" | PG Solorio | 2022 IL Solario 6’2 2022
Donovan had a slow start. He was getting a feel of how runs were played. Once he stepped on the court for the second game he destroyed anyone guarding him. Jones started by launching a couple shots before he decided to get to the rim. When getting downhill Donovan keeps guys on his back which makes it tough to strip him or block his shot. Once he made his point attacking he then made some tough shots with defenders in his face. Jones motor was rolling as several players opposite of him started jawing back and forth with him. This only made him play harder and continuously make shot after shot. Donovan was the best player of the runs tonight.
Christian Marshall OPRF 5’10 2023
My first time seeing Marshall after hearing much about him. First impression is he’s a tough guard who gets after ball handlers by smothering them on defense causing them to fold and turn the ball over. Christian’s aggressiveness kept him ahead of the others. Making strong passes to players and then he made several crafty finishes at the rim. Marshall was one of the very few bright spots in the class of 23 run.
Ty Butler Ty Butler 6'0" | PG Downers Grove South | 2022 IL Downers Grove South 5’10 2022
Second time seeing Butler. He definitely showed me he’s more than just a scorer as he did a good job at mixing up his scoring with being a facilitator. Ty started by stretching the defense with a few shots once they started noticing he was a shooter. Butler made some heady plays to his teammates putting them in easier position to score throughout the runs.
Niel Davis Niel Davis 6'3" | SG Kenwood | 2022 State IL Kenwood 2022
Davis was the player that just out hustled everyone on almost every play. During the runs he chased down rebounds, played passing lanes well, and beat most players to 50-50 balls. Niel played with good energy and just seemed to always have his nose around the ball. Davis is one of those glue guy players who coaches just love to have on the roster.
Jamil Wilson Jamil Wilson 6'7" | PF De La Salle | 2022 State IL De La Salle 6’7 2022
Jamil had another solid run. His rebounding ability always stands out. He reads the ball coming off the rim well and seems to always be where it’s going. Wilson was the recipient of many transition dunks because of how hard he runs the floor. He will be a target of college coaches during his senior year.
Adidas Davis Adidas Davis 6'5" | PF Buffalo Grove | 2022 State IL Buffalo Grove 6’3 2022
Mr. Davis was another one who got off to a slow start initially but after he hit a corner 3 his game started to flourish. Adidas is a shifty guard who has a decent handle but is strong enough to get creative when attacking the bucket. As one of the highlight plays of the runs Adidas crossed a defender then made a scoop shot high off the glass using his left hand. He made shots here and there during games. He needs to become consistent around the arc to become a serious college basketball prospect.

Leirre Collier Marist 6’2 2023
Another strong run from the duo. Both players fed off each other really well. Collier is the lead guard who can create for himself and his teammates. Leirre has some zip on his passes and does a great job at setting Xavier for alley oops. Sulaiman reads defenses well and finds open spots when Leirre is attacking. Sulaiman is a finisher around the rim who is becoming a good spot up shooter off the ball. As sophomores these two can become a scary backcourt in the ESCL.
