#2 – Nathan Rawlins-Kibonge Nathan Rawlins-Kibonge 6'7" | PF Jefferson | 2021 #228 Nation OR (2021 Jefferson)
The reigning 6A Player of the Year may or may not be back, depending on if he enrolls early at Oklahoma. But assuming the rugged 6-foot-7 senior plays with the Demos, he’ll want to get the one thing he hasn’t gotten yet in his high school career – a state title. Rawlins-Kibonge earned POY honors largely due to his ability to rebound and defend as one of the state’s all-time shot blockers but is very underrated offensively and this season should prove that.
#16 – Nick Zuro Nick Zuro 6'7" | PF South Salem | 2021 OR (2021 South Salem)
Zuro, originally from Oregon, transferred into South Salem from the East Coast and immediately made an impact down low for the Saxons on their way to the state tournament. At 6-foot-7, he’s well-built, strong, and athletic and while he certainly does damage down low he can step out and hit face-up jumpers. Unfortunately Zuro suffered an injury during the off-season that will likely shelve him for the entire year.
#18 – Jonah Zeller Jonah Zeller 6'9" | C Catlin Gabel | 2021 State OR (2021 Catlin Gabel)
Zeller was one of the higher risers on the rankings as he impressed us with his toughness and improvement over the summer with International Elite. At 6-foot-9 he proved himself as a shot-blocker and offensively he seemed to get more comfortable in the paint while maintaining his ability to face the basket and hit open shots. Zeller made the early commitment to attend Concordia-St. Paul.
#23 – Mo Hartwich Mo Hartwich 7'0" | C Portland Christian | 2021 State OR (2021 Columbia Christian)
Being a native of Germany, it’s no surprise that Hartwich comes from the mold of the prototypical European big man. The 7-footer moves well, runs the floor, and has a soft touch around and away from the basket. Hartwich has gotten stronger and more confident on the offensive end and has really been evolving as a player during his time at Columbia Christian.
#41 – Kobe Jenson Kobe Jenson 6'6" | PF Life Christian/Alexandria Area | 2021 MN (2021 Life Christian)
Jenson may be undersized at 6-foot-5 but with his strong build and strength, he’s an absolute load to handle at 1A Life Christian. The senior isn’t just effective on the block as he can also step out and hit some perimeter shots and is a good passer from the high post. There’s no question he will not be playing solely in the post at the college level but he has the skills to make the transition.
