<p>What prospects in 2023 are flying under the radar at the wing position? Here are a few of our favorite sleepers to track in the sophomore class at shooting guard and small forward!</p>

<p>Current Ranking: #50</p>
<p>Thomas is long and thin wing that rebounds well and also shows he can push the ball in transition. He can make outside shots, but does most of his work off teammates missed opportunities. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1048324" first="Daniel" last="Johnson"] (Fenwick)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #56</p>
<p>Johnson is an intriguing prospect at 6’4”. The small forward from Fenwick has a lot of projectability with his length and frame. Solid rebounder with a quick second jump. Runs the floor well. Still coming into his own defining who he is as a player.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1048326" first="Jeremiah" last="Akin"] (Oswego East)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #60</p>
<p>Akin is a big wing that runs the floor hard in transition. He snatches rebounds from his wing position.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1048330" first="Wyatt" last="Thompson"] (Dwight)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #65</p>
<p>Thompson is a strong bodied forward that can hit a three from the wing and gets to the foul line when taking his man on drives.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1048374" first="Michael" last="Ratliff"] (Thornwood)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #68</p>
<p>The 6’2” lefty two guard was excellent attacking off the bounce and getting to the foul line for The Work Foundation this summer. He converted a handful of and-1s with his body control at the cup. Also was able to turn defense into offense on a regular basis. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1048379" first="Kyle" last="Olagbegi"] (Lincoln Way East)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #74</p>
<p>The 6’3” wing has a thick body with long arms. He is impactful on both ends with how he rebounds, gets to the foul line, and can drill a three. Defensively he uses his length well.</p>
