Seth Miron Seth Miron 6'4" | SF Kimberly | 2023 State WI — 6-foot-3 — Kimberly
This summer, I thought that Miron had the potential to contribute for Kimberly down the road. After seeing him play really well at the Top 250 Expo on Sunday, I now think that Miron could earn some minutes this season. The small forward is a good three-level scorer who is always a threat to get a bucket when he has the ball in his hands. Even if he isn’t able to crack Kimberly’s rotation this year, I still have a feeling that he could develop into the next star in the FVA.
Alex Sherwood Alex Sherwood 6'4" | SF Xavier | 2023 State WI — 6-foot-6 — Xavier
I didn’t get to see a ton of Sherwood on Sunday, but I saw enough of him to include him on this list. The 6-foot-6 forward looks the part and has the skills to back it up. Sherwood is a really good offensive player who will give opposing coaches headaches when they attempt to devise a game plan to try and stop him. I think that if Sherwood continues to work on his game, he will become one of the better prospects in the 2023 class. The Xavier forward is definitely a player that I really want to watch more.
Ethan Wall-Atim Ethan Wall-Atim 6'4" | PF Notre Dame De La Baie Academy | 2023 State WI -Atim — 6-foot-3 — Notre Dame Academy
Wall-Atim definitely made the best of the moment on Sunday. The 6-foot-3 small forward checked off a lot of the boxes. He used his long arms and solid build to finish layups at the rim and impact the game on defense. From what I saw, Wall-Atim was the best paint protector in the gym. If he is able to grow into a true power forward, then I think Wall-Atim could develop into a really special prospect for Notre Dame Academy.
Will Starks Will Starks 6'4" | SF Kenosha Tremper | 2023 State WI — 6-foot-4 — Tremper
Ever since I first saw Stark at a Prep Hoops Circuit event this summer, he has never failed to impress. The 6-foot-4 small forward is relentless as a slasher and rebounder. He has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender en route to an easy layup. And if Stark runs into contact at the rim, he is strong enough to make the bucket even while being fouled. At Kenosha Tremper, I believe that Stark is set up to have a breakout sophomore season.
Michael Asman Michael Asman 6'7" | PF Kimberly | 2023 WI — 6-foot-7 — Kimberly
Asman is another prospect that caught my eye while playing on the Prep Hoops Circuit this past summer. The lanky forward still has a lot of room for improvement, but I can definitely see the potential. He has a great outside shot with the body type to become a dominant shot blocker. You can’t teach the 6-foot-7 height that Asman has. If he is able to polish his game a bit more, then I definitely think the power forward will find his way onto a college roster.
Bennett Fried Bennett Fried 6'6" | SF La Crosse Central | 2023 State WI — 6-foot-4 — La Crosse Central
Somehow, La Crosse Central just keeping producing top tier talent. After losing a ton of big-name players due to graduation, the Red Raiders could have their next star in Fried. The small forward is a very intriguing prospect due to his size and skill. Standing at 6-foot-4 (with more room to grow), Fried can score in the paint, or pull bigger defender out outside. I would encourage college programs to track the progress of Fried very closely.
