The Tarrant County Combine Showcase presented by Kevin Bradley and The Hoop Association was a newsworthy event filled with several hidden gems from all over Tarrant County, multiple top 100 players in the state, along with a few D1 prospects. The combine consisted of height, weight, and wingspan measurements, intense drills, competitive games, and an All-Star game at the very end.

| [player_tooltip player_id="1047564" first="Javen" last="Hutton"] | Combo Guard | Arlington High School | 2021 |

Hutton plays with a true scorer’s mentality, he’s relentless, and he just keeps coming at you with the determination to win. Javen destroyed defenders with his dribble penetration skills, his knack for attacking the lane opened everything up for the offense, leading to easy drop-off passes or kick-outs to the corner for a three. This guard excelled playing in an up-tempo game by utilizing his elite ball-handling, speed, and explosiveness to his advantage. This is going to be his breakout season for [player_tooltip player_id="1047564" first="Javen" last="Hutton"], he has been playing with a lot of confidence and it seems like Javen has started to put it all together.

| Nicholas Moye | Shooting Guard | Crowley High School | 2021 |

Nicholas Moye is definitely a name to take note of and a player to keep eyes on, he showed big-time potential and was by far one of the more skilled players in the entire combine. Moye played with great enthusiasm, passion, and a love for the game, he seemed to really enjoy competing against the top talent in Tarrant County. This young man will likely be making a lot of noise this year at Crowley high school.

| Kyron Powell | Point Guard | Haltom High School | 2021 |

One of the purest point guards in attendance was Kyron Powell, he has a natural feel for the game and the position that he plays. Powell displayed good point guard qualities, he understands how to control the pace of play and the flow of the game. He looked to make each teammate around him better while protecting the ball and keeping turnovers to a minimum. Defensively, Kyron showed a good defensive prowess, he brings a tough competitive spirit to the defensive end of the floor. He moved his feet very well and was more than capable of staying in front of his man in an effective manner.

| [player_tooltip player_id="1052072" first="Mason" last="Jones"] | Shooting Guard | Keller Central | 2022 |

Another great weekend for [player_tooltip player_id="1052072" first="Mason" last="Jones"], he just continues to excel and improve week to week. The game appears as if it’s starting to slow down and come easy to Mason. This shooting expert will wind up becoming one of the top 5 three-point specialists of his class, in the state. The ceiling for [player_tooltip player_id="1052072" first="Mason" last="Jones"] is extremely high, it’s scary to think about just how great of a shooter and scorer he will actually become someday.

| Bobby Flowers | Shooting Guard | O.D. Wyatt | 2021 |

I had the opportunity to watch Bobby play on multiple occasions this past summer and he always played his role to perfection, but at this combine, he was able to put his full skill set on display both offensively and defensively. Flowers showed the ability to create for others or get his own shot off the bounce. Very efficient, his consistency on his catch and shoot and pull-up jump shots was impressive, he takes smart shots and knows his spots. Bobby Flowers is a highly versatile guard that can make a major impact on both ends of the floor.
