Sioux City Fall League Week 2 Highlights

<p>Week 2 of the Sioux City Fall League had some notable performances and some potential key newcomers to keep your eyes on this winter.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/10/Van-Dyke.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1070408 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/10/Van-Dyke-295x300.jpg" alt="" width="295" height="300" /></a></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1070421" first="Brandt" last="Van Dyke"], 6’7 Sioux City East (2023) - Brandt had a phenomenal Sunday performance showcasing his range and athletic ability to finish above the rim.  Whether it was running in the transition to finish or low rip baseline for the monster dunk he had a great game.  He stretched the defense with a smooth three-point stroke.  Do not sleep on the upside of 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1070421" first="Brandt" last="Van Dyke"].  </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/10/pierson.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1070373" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/10/pierson-151x300.jpg" alt="" width="151" height="300" /></a></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1070422" first="Cameron" last="Pierson"], 6’6 Siouxland Christian (2021) - Started out the game with a step-back three and only continued to play well throughout the game. Soft hands in the paint to finish with either hand.  Good passer from the block or elbow to his open teammate multiple times for the bucket. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/10/IMG-6944.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1070377 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/10/IMG-6944-139x300.jpg" alt="" width="139" height="300" /></a></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="963787" first="Randy" last="Rosenquist"], 5’8 Dakota Valley (2023) - Randy was all over the court for DV this week on both offensively and defensively.  He was an offensive jolt that pushed their team into another gear and did all the small things that don’t necessarily show up in the boxscore that help win games.  Offensively, raised the tempo extremely well and utilized solid ball-handling to either score or get the passing angle to his teammate for the easy bucket.
