<p>Non-Public A has been one of the top groups in the Garden State over the last few years. Programs like Don Bosco Prep, Bergen Catholic and St. Joe’s Metuchen have all produced big-time talent who have contributed at the next level. The current crop of talent in the frontcourt have the ability to make a big impact at the next level. Here are the top forwards to watch in Non-Public A in 2020-21.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850506" first="Zach" last="Hicks"], 6’7 SF Camden Catholic 2021</strong></p>
<p>Hicks is one of the top small forwards in the Garden State and is a scoring talent. The Temple commit can take his man off the dribble and has a nice touch around the basket. Hicks has a smooth release on his jumper and can bury triples. He is a good defender and is an underrated passer. Hicks topped 20 points per game for Camden Catholic last season and should do it again in 2020-21.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850753" first="Akil" last="Watson"], 6’7 SF Don Bosco Prep 2021</strong></p>
<p>Watson had a good freshman season for the Ironmen and is ready for a larger scoring role. The 6’7 forward is at his best off the dribble as he can beat his man and finish around the basket. Watson is more than just a slasher as he can knock down jumpers from behind the arc. He uses his length to impact shots on the defensive end and is a strong rebounder. Watson is a talented wing prospect who should lead Don Bosco Prep in scoring this year.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850510" first="Tristan" last="Jeffries"], 6’5 SF St. Thomas Aquinas 2021</strong></p>
<p>The Trojans need someone to replace Third-Team All-State performer <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850329" first="Quadry" last="Adams"]</strong>’ scoring and Jeffries has the opportunity to do so. The Robert Morris commit is a big-time athlete who knows how to finish above the rim. Jeffries has a good handle and can finish through contact around the basket. He uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end and rips down rebounds. Jeffries is an athletic wing who should be one of the top players in the GMC this season.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900295" first="Matthew" last="Delaney"], 6’7 PF St. Augustine 2021</strong></p>
<p>Delaney helped lead the Hermits to the Non-Public A South title last year and will be the go-to guy again this season. The American commit uses his strong frame to finish through contact around the rim and has a good touch close to the basket. Delaney has a good release and his range extends out to the three-point line. He is a force on both ends of the class and is one of the top post passers in the class. Delaney is a tough power forward prospect who should have a big final season for St. Augustine.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900357" first="Nicolo" last="Nobili"], 6’9 PF Paul VI 2021</strong></p>
<p>The Eagles will be one of the top teams in Non-Public A South this season and Nobili is a big reason why. The 6’9 forward plays with good footwork down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Nobili can also face-up and knock down mid-range jumpers. He is a smooth passer and is a solid post defender. Nobili is a versatile power forward prospect who is looking to help Paul VI capture a sectional title in 2020-21.</p>
