There’s a new #1 in Kansas.

Sunrise Christian will be the temporary home to [player_tooltip player_id="537220" first="Kennedy" last="Chandler"], who is currently ranked #14 in the nation. He will transfer from Briarcrest in Memphis, where he established himself as arguably the top point guard in the nation. Reportedly Chandler is transferring to Sunrise to play with some of his teammates on MoKan. The 6-foot-1 is committed to the University of Tennessee. He scored 22 points, four rebounds and four assists a game as a junior in Tennessee.

Reports from Tennessee are that Chandler does everything at the point guard spot. He has a high basketball IQ, shoots a high clip from the free throw line and can knock down the 3.

89 [player_tooltip player_id="1070214" first="Hunter" last="Davis"], Lakin:

The 5-foot-10 point guard earned second team 3A. The multi-sport star is quick and skilled with the ball. He topped 20 points a game and showed he can score from all over the floor, including shooting 36% from beyond the arc. He can rebound and is adept at setting up his teammates and running an offense as well.

105 [player_tooltip player_id="1072932" first="Stavian" last="Jones"], Seabury:

Some of the stars that surrounded Jones will not be at Seabury this year, but the high scoring Jones will be back to run the show. He’s been an all-state caliber performer for two years, earning second team 2A as a junior. He had Seabury steamrolling its way to a state title when the season was interrupted.

115 [player_tooltip player_id="1070215" first="Maddox" last="Decker"], Santa Fe Trail:

Decker is not a big guy, but the 5-foot-9 scoring machine dribbles his way around defenders and can score inside despite his size. He shoots well and is a good quarterback for the offense. He earned 3A honorable mention as a junior.
