<p>Transfers have always been a thing across the state. This year seems like it has gone to another level. PHI takes a look at the impactful transfers that have been announced to date. Here we dive into the <strong>Impact</strong> <strong>In-State Transfers: Guards and Wings</strong>!</p>

<p><strong><u>Point Guards</u></strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="920953" first="Jalen" last="Houston"] (Bogan – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>Houston is a strong bodied lead guard that pushes pace and is dynamic with his speed. Made the move from Hyde Park and should slide right into the starting lead guard role for an always competitive Bogan squad.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="863600" first="Brylan" last="Phillips"] (Decatur MacArthur – 2022)</strong></p>
<p>Phillips made noise transferring to a school across town when he switched from Decatur Eisenhower to Decatur MacArthur. The junior will provide scoring along with getting his other weapons involved.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939050" first="Darrin" last="Ames"] (Kenwood – 2023)</strong></p>
<p>Explosive lead guard that can score from all three levels. Deep range on his shot with a spectacular pull up game. Made the move over with Taylor and Loury from Morgan Park to Kenwood.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939053" first="Ahmere" last="Carson"] (Orr – 2023)</strong></p>
<p>Orr has always been successful with transfers over the years. Carson was a hyped freshman last year at Morgan Park. We will see if he can take his game to another level with Orr.</p>

<p><strong><u>Wings</u></strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="920941" first="Isaiah" last="Barnes"] (Simeon – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>The Michigan commit is the big time senior Simeon transfer for the Wolverines that has become an annual thing at this point. Very projectable and athletic wing that will be impactful playing next to Ahamad Byunm.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="821756" first="Jeffrey" last="Oakley"] (Corliss – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>Oakley transferred from Corliss from Perspectives for his final year of high school. Explosive two way wing that has improved his perimeter game and should get some more D1 consideration.</p>

<p><strong>Damaricies Moore (Longwood – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>Moore is a long and strong wing that brings versatility and really elevated his stock with Team MORE this summer on the circuit.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="921070" first="Mac" last="Parmelee"] (IVC – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>This Illinois Hoopstars wing is making the move from Dunlap to IVC for his final high school campaign.</p>

<p><strong>Johnny Melvin (Orr – 2021)</strong></p>
<p>Melvin is a transfer to Orr from the state of Texas. The 6’4” wing has created some buzz heading into the season with his transition scoring and bounce.</p>

<p>Jones intrigued us toward the end of the high school season as a sophomore at Granite City. The wiry scoring two guard will now be taking his talents to East St. Louis for the next two years.</p>

<p>This wiry and explosive scoring wing will bring Romeoville immediate scoring pop from the perimeter.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1048313" first="Anthony" last="Wrzeszcz"] (Lake Forest Academy – 2023)</strong></p>
<p>A rare out of state (in this case country) get in this year’s transfer group. Skilled wing from Canada that can light it up from three.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939060" first="Raeshom" last="Harris"] (Bloom – 2023)</strong></p>
<p>Combo guard that has really improved as a ball handler and playmaker. Showed flashes last season he can score from multiple levels.</p>
