On October 11th I attended the Arizona Top-250 EXPO at Inspire Courts in Gilbert, AZ.

There were around 110-115 players who attended the event divided into 12 different teams.

Players were from Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Washington.

Each team played 3 full games and the games were very competitive.

Here were some Nevada standouts not previously mentioned:

[player_tooltip player_id="859646" first="Tavionte" last="Jackson"] (Las Vegas)

-I wasn’t going to mention ANY player twice but when you play as well as Jackson did, I just needed to say one more thing. He is a top-10 PG on the West Coast and is easily a top-5 passer to go along with his stronger frame and elite handle.

Dylyn Cooks PG 5’11 2023 (Arbor View) (Pictured)

-A fast ball handler who has a quick burst getting downhill. He is a ball hawk defensively with his fast speed. He is another guard that not many can keep in front of. He seems to gets to rim at will. He can hit the occasional 3 off the catch. A good looking soph from Vegas.

[player_tooltip player_id="1065798" first="Lawrence" last="Murray"] (Green Valley)

-A undersized 4-man who was one of the best rebounders in attendance using his long arms and motor. He catches passes well in traffic and can finish. His out of area rebounding making his game go and once he extends his range, he will be even more appealing.

[player_tooltip player_id="1044827" first="Anthony" last="Pittman"] (Bishop Gorman)

-A PG with a good burst in the lane and can finish with his left hand. He is a good passer and an active rebounder. He has good body control in the lane and can make the catch-3. He does love getting into the lane as it is hard to stay in front of him.

[player_tooltip player_id="859641" first="Damion" last="Byrd"] (Silverado)

-A true two-way player has a good motor and awareness to defend. He may be a little small but he is a quick ball handler with a tight handle who can make plays and score it in the lane.

[player_tooltip player_id="927162" first="Riley" last="DeWit"] (Bonanza)

-A long lefty is a face-up 4-man. He is crafty around rim and can make hook shots with his dominant hand. He is a tad raw but shows upside.
