#20 | Bobby Hill Bobby Hill 6'5" | PF Reservoir | 2021 State MD | Reservoir | Previous Rank: 36
Hill is playing his best basketball at the moment, and this comes to no surprise as he’s been playing at a very high level for the last several months. The Howard County POY, who was a consistent standout in the frontcourt for Team S.T.A.T this summer, is a flat-out sleeper who should be on the radar of more high academic division one programs.
#24 | Thomas Whitley Thomas Whitley 6'6" | PF Eleanor Roosevelt | 2021 State MD | Eleanor Roosevelt | Previous Rank: 53
Whitley currently looks bigger and stronger than ever. The tall forward is playing his best ball right now but is still just scratching the surface. Expect Whitley to continue building off the momentum he has created.
#31 | Mike Woods Mike Woods 6'4" | SF Frederick Douglass | 2021 State MD | Frederick Couglass | Previous Rank: 65
Woods is coming off a breakout junior campaign in which he emerged as one of the leaders for a sneaky-good Douglass team. The skilled wing has continued to impress throughout the summer and has reinforced his credentials as a division one prospect.
#45 | Afamdi Achufusi Afamdi Achufusi 6'4" | SF Sidwell Friends | 2021 State MD | Sidwell Friends | Previous Rank: 60
Achufusi’s main selling point is his versatility. He is a tall guard who can defend multiple positions well. On the offensive end, Achufusi can serve as a ball-handler, be a ball reversal guy, or use his size to create mismatches.
#46 | Dylan Edwards Dylan Edwards 6'1" | CG St. Andrew's | 2022 MD | St. Andrew’s | Previous Rank: 71
We’ve seen some great things from Edwards on the court in 2020. The MAC Champ is a reliable shot-maker and ball-handler who has an eye for a pass. Edwards has also impressed defensively where he can be an absolute pest in the backcourt.
#49 | Alfred Worrell Jr. Alfred Worrell Jr. 6'2" | CG Archbishop Carroll | 2021 State MD | Archbishop Carroll | Previous Rank: 63
Worrell’s numbers at Blair last season were tremendous. As one of the DMV’s leading scorers, his decision to attend Carroll made headline news. It will be interesting to see how his game translates to the WCAC.
#57 | Jamiyl Kirkland Jr. Jamiyl Kirkland Jr. 6'2" | CG Friendship Tech | 2021 State MD | Friendship Tech | Previous Rank: 69
Kirkland is a big guard who makes the game look easy. He can play on the ball and initiate offense or slide to the two and use his size to make smaller opponents pay around the rim. Kirkland is also a good rebounder from his position who competes defensively.
#60 | Kordell Lewis Kordell Lewis 5'10" | PG Richard Montgomery | 2021 State MD | Richard Montgomery | Previous Rank: 85
Lewis earns his bread and butter on the defensive end. He is an absolute menace on that end of the floor who loves to apply full-court pressure. One of the most underrated things about Lewis is that as a point guard, he knows how to win, and has been on winning teams every year.
#64 | Jalen Curtis Jalen Curtis 6'5" | PF Good Counsel | 2021 State MD | Good Counsel | Previous Rank: 106
Curtis has boosted his profile this summer with his shot-making prowess. The big wing has carved out a niche as a confident spot-up shooter. If Curtis can continue to make shots like this on a consistent basis, it’s a great sign for him moving forward.
#73 | Jabril Robinson Jabril Robinson 6'1" | CG Richard Montgomery | 2021 State MD | Richard Montgomery | Previous Rank: 97
Robinson is a silky-smooth guard who has quietly enjoyed a strong run of play over the last 6-12 months. He is an excellent scorer who can shoot the three but is also very crafty around the basket. Combine Robinson with Kordell Lewis Kordell Lewis 5'10" | PG Richard Montgomery | 2021 State MD and you get one of the toughest backcourts in the DMV.
