Recruiting Tidbits: Trevon Brazile commits to Mizzou

<p> Class of 2021 standout forward [player_tooltip player_id="994435" first="Trevon" last="Brazile"] of Springfield Kickapoo has given a commitment to to the University of Missouri.</p> <p> An explosive 6’8 forward with a monstrous upside,  Brazile had seen his recruiting interest pick up from the low to mid major level to getting on the radar of high major programs. He had received early offers from Montana State and Cleveland State before blowing up during the late summer.</p> <p> Brazile solidified his high major status by having a big showing at last weekend’s Ohio Basketball Grassroots Showcase in Indianapolis while playing for a very talented Yanders Law team. Within a couple of days, he received a scholarship offer from Mizzou head coach Cuonzo Martin. It took Brazile only a couple of hours to make his commitment, which he announced on his Twitter account.</p> <p> "I was really happy because I realized that my recruitment was starting to take off," Brazile said. "I felt comfortable because Mizzou is close to where I live and the program is family based." </p> <p> After spending his first three years at Parkview, Brazile has transferred to Kickapoo for his senior year, where he will join a talent-rich team that includes fellow Mizzou commit [player_tooltip player_id="583709" first="Anton" last="Brookshire"], fellow transfer transfer [player_tooltip player_id="824115" first="Isaac" last="Haney"] and standout guard [player_tooltip player_id="824141" first="Cameron" last="Liggins"]. Not only will Brazile play with Brookshire and Kickapoo and with Yanders Law during the summer, they will continue to be teammates at Mizzou.</p> <p>  "I’m really excited," he said.
