Angelo Kambala Angelo Kambala 5'10" | CG Liberty | 2023 State NV 5’10 CG Coronado 7↑ – 5 – Kambala has turned me into a fan. Love guys that can impact the game in other ways besides scoring. His defense is a consistent you can hang your hat on, and he has a quick burst that allows him to get into the lane and make plays on offense. It was a small jump, but well deserved.
Nakalya Fabello Nakalya Fabello 5'10" | PG Valley | 2023 State NV 5’10 PG Valley 13↑ – 10 – One of the toughest players in the city. Fabello is a natural leader that has the kind of quiet demeanor players gravitate to. He protects the ball, and understands how to organize an offense. His leadership and floor general qualities played a huge role in him rising up the rankings.
Isiaac Boykin Isiaac Boykin 6'2" | SG Desert Pines | 2023 State NV 6’2 SG Desert Pines 21↑ – 12 – Boykin really impressed me throughout the summer. He is a natural shooter with consistent form and good range. He also has a knack for making tough shots around the basket. He’s a quality player that could provide depth and bench scoring for an already loaded DP squad.
Tylen Riley Tylen Riley 6'2" | CG Durango | 2023 State NV 6’0 CG Durango 25↑ – 15 – One of the things I look for when evaluating a player is how many times do you stand out when I walk into the gym? So far Riley is perfect in that category. Plays with a quiet confidence, is competitive and has a good skill set. I was really impressed with how he played at the recent Pangos camp, and honestly he could have moved up a few more spots on this list.
Leyton Barr Leyton Barr 5'10" | SG Faith Lutheran | 2023 State NV 6’0 SG Faith Lutheran 35↑ – 29 (featured image) – Barr rose mostly because of his signature skill. He’s already an advanced shooter that needs little time to get off his shot. Faith Lutheran is known for having a great system, and I can see how a player with Barr’s skill set could thrive in it.
