If you missed it, PHD updated its rankings.

Here’s a quick look at the top 15 players:

[player_tooltip player_id="731865" first="Will" last="Obioha"], Grand Forks Red River

Obioha didn’t partake in the grassroots season but he remains the top prospect in the state because of his combination of skill, athleticism and potential. At 6-foot-6, he’s capable of guarding at least three positions at a high level while possessing high-end help defensive potential. He’s a strong finisher who excels off the ball, and has shown the ability to shoot it.

[player_tooltip player_id="731881" first="Carson" last="Lamp"], Jamestown

Lamp is the definition of rock-solid and he just keeps producing at a high level. He was an all-state guy as a junior, helping lead Jamestown to the state semifinals. And he was the best player for ECI over the summer. He’s a good shooter, a natural playmaker and a tough-as-nails defender.

[player_tooltip player_id="731876" first="Jacksen" last="Moni"], West Fargo Sheyenne

Moni is the best pure big man in the state thanks to his defensive acumen. At 6-foot-9, Moni combines excellent size and length with great smarts. He’s mobile enough to get out and guard on the perimeter when needed, and he utilizes his length to alter shots around the rim without fouling.

[player_tooltip player_id="731870" first="Owen" last="Hektner"], Fargo Davies

Hektner spent the grassroots season playing with the Pentagon Schoolers and while he didn’t have a lot of opportunity to shine offensively, he showed that he’s capable of being a positive player in just about any role on any team. He’s a multipositional defender who doesn’t need the ball to make an impact.

[player_tooltip player_id="731866" first="Gunner" last="Swanson"], Bismarck

Swanson’s been a steady riser over the course of the last year. He was terrific as a junior with Bismarck, helping lead the Demons to the state semifinals, and was a high-impact guy with ECI over the summer. He’s athletic and can guard three positions, he shoots it at a high level, he scores on cuts and he rebounds enough to play up a position.

[player_tooltip player_id="731867" first="Gavin" last="Keller"], Kindred

Keller is one of the best bigs in the state and showed over the summer with ECI that he can defend at the rim, score around the paint and step away from the rim and hit shots. He needs to get stronger, but he’s got as much potential in terms of next-level ability as just about anybody in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id="750160" first="Jase" last="Crockett"], Northern Cass

Crockett is one of the most dynamic lead guards in the state and can fill it up, ignite a team with his defense and make plays at a high level. He’s strong, he’s quick and he’s aggressive. He’s got all-state potential as a senior and could be one of the top scorers in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="531491" first="Lucas" last="Schumacher"], Linton/HMB

Schumacher had a lot of good moments over the summer on the grassroots circuit, showing he’s got the athleticism and skill to compete against high-level competition. He’s a capable playmaker who can shoot it in spot-up situations, and defend at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id="750158" first="Deonte" last="Martinez"], Minot

Martinez is a feisty, tough lead guard who gets it done on both ends of the floor. He was a welcome addition to ECI this summer, providing a jolt in transition and on the defensive end. He’s an excellent finisher despite being undersized and uses his strength to his advantage on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id="750166" first="Jesse" last="White"], White Shield

White is one of the most dynamic players in the state and flys under the radar a little bit because of his location. He stuffed the stat sheet during his junior season, averaging 24 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Expect those to be even more robust as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id="750157" first="Wyatt" last="Enno"], Turtle Mountain

Enno missed his entire junior season with an injury but showed very few signs of rust over the summer with ND Phenom. He’s got the size to play on the wing or up in a lineup, the skill to present matchup problems and the smarts on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="750168" first="Brooks" last="Carroll"], Jamestown

Carroll is one of the top wings in the state and arguably the state’s best pure shooter. He’s a lot more than just a shooter though, as he’s a strong defender, a good cutter off the ball, and an improved playmaker.

[player_tooltip player_id="750176" first="Jayce" last="Lowman"], Mandan

Lowman is a big riser in the updated rankings, as he was solid over the summer with ND Attack. The Mandan swingman is just so steady in so many areas of the game. He’s an outstanding long-range shooter off the catch and the bounce, a versatile defender on the perimeter and a rock-solid playmaker.

[player_tooltip player_id="750161" first="Caleb" last="Duffield"], Bowman County

Duffield’s been one of the best pure scorers in Class B the last couple seasons and he’ll have the keys for the Bulldogs as a senior. He showed during the grassroots season that he can get hot and pile up points as fast as any individual player in the state. He’s a competitive defender and shows the ability to get guys involved off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id="750177" first="Tristin" last="Davis"], Turtle Mountain

Davis is another big riser after not only a strong junior year but an excellent summer with ND Phenom. He’s a big, athletic guard who defends at a high level, rebounds effectively, score from just about anywhere on the floor and make the game easier for his teammates.
