We’ve also taken the liberty of watching many games via live stream and replay during the “new normal.” Here is a look at some wings from the class of 2023 who respectively improved their stock throughout August.
Kwame Evans Kwame Evans 6'9" | SF Montverde | 2023 State #20 Nation FL | Team Durant /Poly (MD)
Evans has been thoroughly impressive throughout I95 Coalition. He is developing nicely and still has considerable upside when you consider his blend of size and skill. With that being said, Evans has been consistently productive and is playing both ends of the floor.
Kris Johnson | District Basketball Club/Georgetown Prep (MD)
Johnson is one of several young and exciting prospects coming up at Georgetown Prep right now. He is a lanky wing who plays a mature brand of basketball. While he is yet to make his mark at the high school level, that could change soon.
Jamie Kaiser | Team Durant /Lake Braddock (VA)
Kaiser has parlayed an impressive freshman season into a strong run of play with Team Durant . He initially stood out as a bonafide scorer with nice shooting touch, but he also competes fiercely on the defensive end and is not afraid to attack the basket as well.
Raymond Watts Raymond Watts 6'4" | SG St. John's | 2023 State MD | Team Durant /St. John’s (DC)
Watts is a skilled wing with a smooth all-around game. He has significant defensive potential because of his length and willingness to compete on every play. Watts was an important player for Team Durant because he can fill many roles and is willing to share the ball on offense.
