What prospects from Illinois helped elevate their stock the most during the PrepHoops Circuit? Here is a list of players that did just that in our 2021 Illinois Prep Hoops Circuit Stock Risers Pt 2!

[player_tooltip player_id="920998" first="Demarco" last="Clayton"] (Illinois Hoopstars Willis)

This Bloomington 6’5” two guard was outstanding in several games we saw him with for the Hoopstars. Slender build and long arms. He finds holes in the defense attacking the weakness or going coast to coast for finishes. Was capable shooter as well hitting threes.

[player_tooltip player_id="821777" first="Isaiah" last="Holden"] (Illinois Hoopstars National)

Holden is a quick and shifty guard that makes plays in the lane and with a killer pull up game. He controls the pace and is a quality decision maker with the ball in his hands on a consistent basis. Stepped up huge in some of his team’s biggest games.

[player_tooltip player_id="821803" first="Norvell" last="Meadows"] (Team MORE)

The Orr High School guard was electric with the rock in his hands with his burst and tight handles. Capable shooter hitting several of them in his big outing in Indy. More of a scorer’s mentality at the lead guard spot.

[player_tooltip player_id="920957" first="Brandon" last="Hall"] (Team MORE)

Hall is a 6’6” guard that has excellent size and strength. Played mostly off the ball, but can do work as a jumbo combo guard as well. He is so powerful getting downhill once he gets his shoulders turned. Overpowers weaker defenders. Plus rebounder for his position. Tough kid!

[player_tooltip player_id="920959" first="Nathanael" last="Hoskins"] (Beyond Ball College Prospects)

The Danville senior is a crafty left handed guard that has strength. Bit of a slow mo type game off the bounce, but he always ends up at the hoop where he has good body control as a finisher. Crisp ball handler that gets in and out of traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id="920945" first="Jaehshon" last="Thomas"] (Beyond Ball College Prospects)

The strong bodied guard is known for his ability to get downhill attacking with strength. Pushed it in transition and his passing was really on point. He found guys in the open floor, had nice entry passes into the post, and worked well in the pick and roll. Capable mid-range shooter. Got after it defensively as well.

Biggie Luster (Illinois Stars)

This 6’0” lefty two guard is a sniper from the perimeter with his ability to knock down shots from three. We came away impressed with his all-around game improvement. He defended at a high level against bigger opponents. Uses his length and quickness to pressure them making his opponents uncomfortable. Slipped in for several rebounds flying in from the perimeter. Showed growth as a passer since we last saw him during the high school season.

[player_tooltip player_id="863638" first="Keynan" last="Davis"] (Windy City All-Stars)

The Romeoville High School 6’4” two guard came out aggressive and looking to get buckets on the PHC. Got into the mid-range where he utilized a fade away and step back. Played on the ball quite a bit being able to manipulate the defense off the bounce. Smooth ball handler that flashed as a passer.

[player_tooltip player_id="765241" first="RJ" last="Walker"] (Sky Ice Elite)

Strong point guard that can really pass it. Got in the lane with his strength and crisp ball handling. Most of the time he was looking to set others up whether it was dump off passes inside or to the corner for threes. We liked how he kept attacking getting to the line. Hit a pair of threes from the wing.

[player_tooltip player_id="921017" first="TJ" last="Price"] (Illinois Phenom)

Listed at 6’1” the Springfield Lanphier guard plays taller than that with his long and angular frame. Slick ball handler that got in the lane for scoop shots and was often fouled on drives. Capable shooter off the catch. Flashed his defense on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id="995974" first="Tyvin" last="Garrison"] (Illinois Phenom)

What is going to intrigue college coaches about this four man is how he can shoot it off the catch as he connected on feathery triples. So quick and active on the offensive glass for second chance points. Solid rim protector.

[player_tooltip player_id="765214" first="Landon" last="Zurliene"] (Illinois Bears Walker)

This skilled southern Illinois wing stands at 6’4” with quality athleticism. He can put it on the deck as he showed in the half court on runners and then in the full court off a steal for a coast to coast conversion. Smooth looking jump shot. Like his overall skilled game with solid athleticism from the wing spot.

[player_tooltip player_id="921014" first="Nathan" last="Thompson"] (Illinois Bears Walker)

The small forward has nice size at 6’4” to be a tall three man at the small college level and can even play some four when needed. Super active on the offensive glass crashing it over and over for second chance points. Sound shooter off the catch from three.
