Second Team
PG Zion Swader Zion Swader 6'0" | PG Siegel | 2021 State TN – EAB-Jennings
Put up 25 points and offered up 10 assists in a key Sunday morning win over DFavors Celtics. [Saturday vs. Inspire Atlanta] Gorgeous teardrop floater and he finished with a clatter against his body. No call. Scored 15 points, but missed a wide-open top-of-key three pointer early followed by a well-earned left-handed layup. His handles and first-step quickness enabled him to get into dangerous pockets, but he didn’t finish that particular play off like he could. The below average, by his high standards Saturday morning game became a forgotten memory as his weekend improved with typical Swader dominance. Elite change of pace. Love his ability to breakdown a defender in the open floor.
SG Jack Brown Jack Brown 6'4" | SG Maryville | 2021 State TN – Mid-State Elite
Brown was hitting his three’s and helped his squad finish the weekend 4-0. Per a teammate, ‘very consistent scoring along with playing very hard on the other end.’
SG Isaiah Farrior Isaiah Farrior 6'5" | SG Clarksville Northeast | 2021 State TN – Mid-State Elite
Farrior found his way, but during one rough patch late first half Saturday morning, Isaiah completely crumbled. He missed a three, which everyone does, but then let a guy cross him and knock down a mid-range as Farrior recovered to challenge decently, then held onto the ball too long in the corner with a wideopen teammate at the near wing. Instead of making the shifting defense adjust on the fly, he held the ball, and eventually sent a skip pass through the thick, dense web of arms. Turnover. Farrior, generally the best college prospect on the team, was pulled from the floor. It was not his finest hour. Farrior re-established his presence with a scallywag of a steal to open his second half effort. Farrior truly fits best in an extended, high-pressure defense where his D1 athleticism can work for him. Defends like a ravenous wolverine. Farrior’s mixture of height, quicks, and hops are D1 special.
SG Trey Hamilton Trey Hamilton 6'5" | SF McCallie | 2021 State TN – Tennessee Tigers
Scorched the nets. He was so difficult to defend. Most defenders could not even challenge or approach his high, repeatable release point.
PG Darwin Randolph Darwin Randolph 6'0" | PG East Hamilton | 2021 State TN – North Metro Elite
Steady leader. On top of scoring plenty, Darwin forcefully helped on the glass.
Great hard fought-victory 74-58 against a tough team, All Alabama 2021. Claudell Harris 27p,8rb,3stl,3as. Kristian Ford 19p, 10rb, 5stl. Darwin Randolph 16pts, 5rbs,4stl,6as. Kevin Taylor 4p,14rbs,3stl,4blks.
