Braden Huff Braden Huff 6'11" | PF Glenbard West | 2022 State #58 Nation IL (Glenbard West – 2022)
What a showing by one of the top post prospects in the class. The skilled 6’9” four man from Glenbard West was absolutely dynamic with his all-around skill set. Huff showcased his ability to put it on the deck scoring off the bounce on euro steps and spin moves in the lane. Had a really impressive play where he took it coast to coast while going behind his back. Plus shooter that drilled three triples in this outing. Such a free and easy stroke. Crashed the glass for several offensive rebounds. Runs the floor with fluidity.
Jaden Schutt Jaden Schutt 6'5" | SG Yorkville Christian | 2022 State #42 Nation IL (Yorkville Christian – 2022)
Schutt played quite a bit on the ball in this scrimmage. The elite shooter continues to display his all-around skill set. Crisp passer, got to the rim for layups with a burst, finished above the rim on lobs, and brought his toughness to the table. Making a strong case to move up to #2 in our next 2022 update.
Jalen Quinn Jalen Quinn 6'3" | PG Tuscola | 2022 State #136 Nation IL (Tuscola – 2022)
Quinn is primed to blow up over the next few months with his recruitment. The top 10 prospect is a point guard that has become a consistent perimeter shooting threat knocking down threes off the catch at a very high clip. Love how he pushes in the open floor using his shake and handles to get to the rim.
Cooper Noard Cooper Noard 6'2" | PG Glenbrook South | 2022 State IL (Glenbrook South – 2022)
Noard also shot it very well from three connecting on five of them in the scrimmage including a couple really deep ones. Mixed in a floater and throwing a sweet lob pass.
Dylan Arnett Dylan Arnett 6'9" | PF DePaul Prep | 2022 State IL (DePaul Prep – 2022)
Arnett has significantly helped his stock in these scrimmages. Strong bodied four man that has greatly improved athletically. He threw down several explosive dunks in the game. Three blocks including swatting one on the perimeter. Can stretch the floor with his shooting and pop it from mid-range too.
Caden Pierce Caden Pierce 6'5" | SG Glenbard West | 2022 State IL (Glenbard West – 2022)
Pierce is an off guard that has a nice overall skill package. In this game it was his passing that was impactful as several of his dishes led to scores for his team.
Darius Duff Darius Duff 6'3" | SG Lake Forest Academy | 2022 State IL (Lake Forest Academy – 2022)
Combo guard from Lake Forest Academy brings wiry athleticism playing both on and off the ball. Capable three point shooter that drilled quite a few of them especially pulling up. Quick defensively and plays with speed.
AaReyon Munir-Jones AaReyon Munir-Jones 6'2" | SG Hillcrest | 2022 State IL (Tinley Park – 2022)
Munir-Jones is another smooth and athletic backcourt player that is more of a two guard. He dropped several jump shots and got loose in transition. Really like what he brings defensively getting steals and taking them the other way.
Payton LaCombe (Ludington, MI – 2022)
This Michigan power forward is a floor spacing four that can drill threes as he hit a trio of them. Excellent form on his shot. Brings some mobility to the table in the pick/roll.
Elijah Jointer (Mt. Carmel – 2022)
Thick bodied power forward that connected on an array of mid-range jumpers and baseline shots. Emerging name to track.
Sonny Williams Sonny Williams 6'1" | PG International Sports Academy | 2023 OH (Niles Notre Dame – 2023)
Williams did a solid job of running the show for his squad. Split the defense finishing with a left handed layup. Also drilled a three coming off a ball screen.
