Session III at I95 Coalition is off to a good start. Here are five standouts from the morning game sets.

[player_tooltip player_id="957111" first="Isaiah" last="Arnold"] | New World/DeMatha (MD) ‘23

Arnold played an impressive floor game this morning as New World outlasted a gritty Team Richmond bunch by a final score of 53-51. While he was not out there hunting shots, he did a tremendous job controlling the tempo of the game and ran the offense efficiently.

Jovani Galarza | District Basketball Club/Avalon (MD) ‘23

This was my first-time watching Galarza and the first impression he made was strong. He’s an explosive guard who plays with controlled aggression on both ends of the floor and showcases a nice feel for the game.

[player_tooltip player_id="775338" first="Elijah" last="Hawkins"] | New World/DeMatha (MD) ‘21

Hawkins should be commended for how he ran the show during New World’s comprehensive victory over Team Richmond today. He handed out 7 dimes while committing just 1 turnover, and his unselfishness was contagious as his team shared the ball exceptionally well.

[player_tooltip player_id="904633" first="Preston" last="Howard"] | Team Melo/McDonogh (MD) ‘22

This Team Melo mob has been a buzzsaw at I95 Coalition so far, and it would be a mistake to ignore the contributions of [player_tooltip player_id="904633" first="Preston" last="Howard"]. He is an athletic forward who brings size, versatility, and energy to the front line.

Carmelo Pacheco | Team Richmond/Spotswood (VA) ‘22

Pacheco’s main selling point right now is his ability to make shots. He did quite a bit of that today and is a safe bet to continue doing so.
