The second of two Reach Higher Kings 16U groups features a wider array of schools represented and is highlighted by a diverse group of athletes and risers, many of whom will surely feature in their school’s success this coming season.

REACH HIGHER KINGS (RILEY)

Gil Matondo (6-4, SF, Chattahoochee) - Bouncy athlete who can do a lot of things, has a rapidly developing all-around game, despite being able to play above the rim and get buckets aplenty in close also has shown good range to draw out defenders, from the wing he can do plenty of damage off the bounce, active rebounder as well, really gets out on the break and is an exciting finisher, so versatile he can literally guard the whole floor, makes for an intriguing though not identical potential replacement for the departed [player_tooltip player_id="868086" first="Cam" last="Sheffield"].

Tomiwa Adetosoye (6-2, CG, Chattahoochee) - Gifted creator in the combo guard mold, like having the ball in his hands and appears most comfortable out front creating and controlling the tempo, but with [player_tooltip player_id="830573" first="AJ" last="White"] back at PG for the Cougars he will likely spend a fair amount of time on the wing along with [player_tooltip player_id="1012728" first="Keith" last="Murray"], that said he’s a terrific driver who is plenty strong enough to get through contact attacking from the perimeter, when he amps up the intensity he can be really tough to deal with, has a shooting stroke that requires respect but feels like it could get even more consistent and take his game to another level.

Wade Kahl (6-7, PF, Centennial) - Love the motor, fire and competitiveness, add to that a back-to-the- basket post game which is refreshing in this day and age, can get you with the jump hook or the turn-around J, really understands how to establish position on the low block, perhaps not a true face-up, modern-day 4 but is more than comfortable stepping out from 15 feet and beyond, an intuitive rebounder with a nose for the ball and sticky hands, makes for a fascinating option alongside the likes of returning wing studs [player_tooltip player_id="806764" first="Kyle" last="Duncan"] and [player_tooltip player_id="869586" first="Logan" last="Turner"].

Caleb Riley (5-10, PG, Johns Creek) - Sound PG instincts, good ballhandler and decision-maker, excellent shooter means he can effectively slide over to the 2 and offer long-range accuracy when called upon, like what he can bring to what will be a new-look Gladiator bunch supporting rising senior [player_tooltip player_id="1020668" first="Steven" last="Lyles"].

Khadar Musa (6-1, SG, Norcross) - A do-it-all athlete who’s game is emerging and has lots of room to grow, slasher, good handle, really impressive out on the break, long at 6-1 which makes him a tough defender to get around.

[caption id="attachment_1039396" align="alignleft" width="225"] Manny Vasquez[/caption]

Manny Vasquez (5-7, PG, Dacula) - A good fit at the point for what usually is a very athletic Falcons bunch, really pushes tempo, strongly built into that smaller frame gives him a fearless mentality, nice handle and speedy on the bounce, pass-first mentality but can shoot or drive it into the lane.

Avi Harista (6-2, SG, Chattahoochee) - Will be another deadeye shooting option for the Cougars, classic spot-up shooter with a quick release, sneaky athletic who also likes to get out and run.

Preston Rivers (5-6, PG, Chattahoochee) - High energy, great defender, like Vasquez a pace-pusher with an understanding of how to get others involved, can definitely shoot it if left alone.
