<p>The Showdown 2020 took place this past weekend in Spartanburg at the Upward Star Center. The event actually featured a handful of boys teams along with girls action. Prep Hoops was in attendance for the event today. Lets take a look at the 2021 Palmetto State players playing here today. </p>

<p>Cooper has really filled out this past summer body wise. Cooper has added weight and muscle to his frame now. Cooper is a very versatile player who can post-up in down low or step-out and knockdown the 17-19 footer. Cooper runs the floor very well and has great hands down in the paint. Cooper has added over 40 pounds to his frame now and weighs in at 225 pounds. </p>

<p>Stratford is a undersized guard who really likes to play the game from the corners. Stratford has range out to the 3-point line won’t hesitate to let it fly. Stratford seems to play better off the ball when given the chance. </p>

<p>Tucker a multi-sport athlete for the Mustangs will have to make a decision on football or basketball at the next level. Tucker a nice size guard plays wide receiver on the football field. Tucker is versatile to play both back court positions with the ability to hit shots on the perimeter. </p>

<p>Little has added some muscle to his frame over the Grassroots time this summer. Little generally plays with Team South Carolina (Decided not to play during the Covid-19 Pandemic). Little a forward rebounds the ball well on both ends of the floor and brings good versatility to the floor. Little has great academics in the classroom. Little will be on a very talented roster once again this season for the Lions and Head Coach BJ Jackson. </p>

<p>Duke a left-handed shooting guard came out firing here this weekend at The Showdown 2020. Duke really worked it well from the corners knocking down three pointers. Duke came on very strong down the stretch last season for the Warriors in helping them win a SCISA Class 2A State Championship. </p>

<p><strong>Khalid Wannamaker - Spartanburg HS - Sparkle City Thunder </strong></p>
<p>Wannamaker 6’1 wiry guard was able to get the ball to the basket for the Thunder today. Wannamaker showed to have a nice mid-range pull-up in transition. Wannamaker really liked having the ball in his hands for the better part of the game. Wannamaker took it upon himself to look to score the ball when given the chance. </p>
