2021: Big Shots Finale

<p>Prep Hoops was front and center all the action yesterday here at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center for the Big Shots Finale. The event featured plenty of talent from around the Carolinas. Lets dive into it right here with some 2021 Palmetto State players in the event. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840185" first="RJ" last="Felton"] - Aiken HS - Big Shots Elite SC Premier (pictured on the front) </strong></p> <p>Felton suited with the Big Shots SC this weekend here at the beach for the first time. Felton came out strong in the opening game with 25 points in a win over Team SMASH. Felton is the highest ranked kid that’s uncommitted in the Palmetto State at #8 in the 2021 Class. Felton has the ability to create his own shot and explode to the basket. Jenkins and his teammates ran into a juggernaut in North Carolina Elite in the opening round. Jenkins a physical guard stayed in the game early on and just lost out on fire power. Howell connected on some 15-17 footers today which we hadn’t seen this summer. Howell is a high energy guy around the cup and really likes to hit the glass on both ends. Johnson was able to get the ball into the paint and find the open man today. Johnson uses the ball screen well and was able to connect on some perimeter jumpers. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="976952" first="Amarion" last="Turner"] - Legion Collegiate (Rock Hill) - Team Synergy 2021</strong></p> <p>Turner is a shot maker on the floor for the black and orange team. Turner elevates nicely on his shot and has good range. Marlowe a guard by trade is always all over the floor with his play. Marlowe rebounds the ball well from his position and plays the game very unselfishly. Herrin a rangy left-handed guard was able to score around the rim. Herrin plays best when in transition. Herrin has good length and still must get stronger for the next level. </p>
