Respect the All-Tournament First Team, listed previously.
Second Team
C David Okpara – EAB 16u
High-character player. David is a raw basketball player with oodles of potential. This weekend he was active in the lane defensively and put in some time around the rim offensively. Great mobility with ideal forward size.
F Tobias Sirmones – Tennessee Tigers 16u
Tobias was strong, foreboding around the rim. His high school coach mentioned that Sirmones spent the last few months “football lifting”, so he is not in basketball shape. Still, Tobias played well. If this was Tobais out of basketball shape, then he really can be a dynamic college basketball player someday.
F Cade Pendleton – Team Curry 16u
Cade was scrambling and diving all over the deck for loose balls. Cade is a little raw offensively. Stay patient with his development because there is a bright future ahead of him. Needs better timing of the rebounds.
G Colin Porter – EAB 16u
Porter is a true pest with exceptional patience and court awareness. Great shooter. Porter hails from Kentucky, but he needed to be included on his list. Porter’s scrappiness is thrilling to watch. He pounds, pounds, pounds those feet.
G Eli Walls – Team Passion 016u
Lean wing. Eli Walls is a solid finisher in transition, which most of AAU basketball is. Walls hails from Powell High School. He could add more muscle, like most high school underclassmen.
