Five Best (+)
Braeden Carrington Braeden Carrington 6'4" | SG Park Center | 2022 State #141 Nation MN of Park Center. Carrington is one of the shooters that college coaches have identified as a player they must keep an eye on. Carrington scored six a game off the bench last year and this coming winter he will have his first chance to be the main scoring threat (AAU and HS).
Francis Nwaokorie of Champlin Park. Francis is a first team All State preseason player in Class AAAA and that is because of his physical abilities combined with the footwork and touch. Francis seems to be on the verge of a massive season. Can he follow in the foot steps of McKinley Wright and JT Gibson leading the Rebels to state?
Joshua Ola-Joseph Joshua Ola-Joseph 6'6" | SF Osseo | 2022 State #166 Nation MN of Osseo. Ola-Joseph was the best Orioles player on the team last year and his potential is through the rough. When it comes to players on the verge of moving from a top player in the league to a top player in the state, Josh is at the front of that list (in terms of capability).
Bernard Omooria of Osseo. If you are to pick one word to describe Bernard it would be, solid. Bernard was one Oriole that didn’t have to sit for this or that, and he was one guy that the team could depend on each night. It’s even bigger than he’s the PG and this huge moving forward.
Joshua Strong Joshua Strong 6'0" | PG Champlin Park | 2021 State MN of Champlin Park. When it comes to PGs that the NSIC covets, Josh Strong is at the top of the list right now. Strong is a steady ball handler, solid defender, quality shooter, and an academic superstar. The guard play for the Rebels is to the level of “PG U” if this was a college. Strong is next.
Dylan Wheeler Dylan Wheeler 6'3" | SG Mounds View | 2022 State MN of Mounds View. You know how basketball can work in local discussions, “that guy is on a shoe team so he must be..” is a popular generalization. Well I am hear to tell you that that’s not always the case. Dylan Wheeler Dylan Wheeler 6'3" | SG Mounds View | 2022 State MN is an all around winner. Ask the toughest teams last year that he nearly beat or did beat as the Stangs won 20 games. He belongs in this group more than a few others actually.

Jalen Cook Jalen Cook 6'4" | SG Park Center | 2021 State MN of Park Center. I think Jalen is about to have a breakout season. Tough player that can shoot the ball.
Dylan Gichaba Dylan Gichaba 6'5" | SF Champlin Park | 2021 State MN of Champlin Park. What I love about Dylan is that he will give whatever a team needs. This year he will have a chance to play more and do more.
Trey Johnston Trey Johnston 6'3" | SG Spring Lake Park | 2021 State MN of Spring Lake Park. Trey is a solid shooter that is developing more parts to his game. The opportunity is there for a big year.
Evan Kim Evan Kim 6'4" | SG Mounds View | 2021 State MN of Mounds View. Evan led MV in scoring last season at 16 a game and is ready to push them past 20 wins.
Jake Skelly of Spring Lake Park. A talented football recruit that is also the top returning Panther scorer.
Tyirece Waits Tyirece Waits 6'1" | PG Osseo | 2022 State MN of Osseo. Waits may have not had the fanfare as some others but he out-produced a lot of players in his class with his hard working approach.
