Denium Juette (Illinois Jaguars)
Juette is a 6’3” combo guard with good length and an angular build. Like what this lefty did with his quickness off the bounce. Won off the dribble at a good rate and got to the foul line consistently in the game we saw. Should see a bigger role at Fenwick this upcoming season.
Martell Webb Martell Webb 6'7" | C Tinley Park | 2022 State IL (Illinois Hoopstars)
Webb had a strong opening performance with the Illinois Hoopstars on Saturday morning. He is a load inside with how big he is on the interior. The wide bodied Westinghouse five man plays physical on the block while showing nifty footwork. Had a couple nice spins in the paint. Good area rebounder that snatched them throughout their opener.
Shallah Davis (Illinois Outwork)
Davis plays up on the Illinois Outwork 17U squad. The Argo small forward was productive just like he was a couple weeks ago when we saw him in Wisconsin. Power wing that goes through defenders at the rim. Capable shooter although he does have a slight hitch at the top of the key.
Jabar Wheatley (The Work Foundation)
Wheatley impressed us with his ability to knock down shots. Did it from both mid-range and stretching it out beyond the three point arc. Strong and aggressive scoring wing that has potential to emerge this high school season.
Kai Rios (Illinois Hoopstars)
Rios is a three sport athlete that could probably play any of the three at the next level. He is a thick bodied five man that has skill. He had a couple turnovers, but the good well outweighed the bad. He showcased a feathery jumper that he stretched out in the pick and pop game. Quick moves with his back to the basket. Had a sweet up and under move in the paint as well. Central Illinois post to track!
Jeremiah Jones Jeremiah Jones 6'4" | SG Marian Catholic | 2022 State IL (Illinois Hoopstars)
This Marian Catholic 6’3” shooting guard continues to elevate his stock with a strong July. Rangy and athletic defensive player that can check either backcourt spot. He is a sound three point shooter off the catch and his athleticism plays well in transition.
