The change in the recruiting cycle is going to be a big change for everyone. Right as we thought we were going to be getting out on the road, we get shut down. So, in order to spend as much effort as we can in getting players seen, we are going to do what we call, 3-Packs.

With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2021 Point Guards in [player_tooltip player_id="874209" first="Camden" last="Thomson"], [player_tooltip player_id="874162" first="Kyle" last="Crim"], and [player_tooltip player_id="963927" first="Tyson" last="Chavez"].

[player_tooltip player_id="874209" first="Camden" last="Thomson"] – 5’10 PG 2021 – Franklin Community (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Thomson is a small lead guard that plays real hard. Real good defender and is the type to play in your face and tries to steal the ball a ton. Real good shooter from the outside and gets to the basket well. Type of player that can get hot at any moment in the game. Plays real tough right now but still needs to add some strength to his frame. Overall, Thomson is an aggressive guard that is going play his heart out until the final whistle. Expect him to have a good senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="874162" first="Kyle" last="Crim"] – 6’1 PG 2021 – Morristown (IN)
Stats: 15.9 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 5.9 apg
Thoughts: Crim is a small lead guard with a good amount of skill. Pretty athletic and drives to the basket very well also. Excellent outside shooter and can make shots both from the pull-up and off the catch. Really has improved tremendously since his freshman year and has some pretty nice handles and creativity with the ball. Probably still needs to work on adding some size to his frame if he wants to compete at the next level. Crim is a very reliable prospect to keep an eye on this next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="963927" first="Tyson" last="Chavez"] – 5’9 PG 2021 – Lowell (IN)
Stats: 8.6 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 3.3 apg
Thoughts: Chavez is a smaller guard that has some game to him. He has a little junkyard dog in him as he plays pretty tough and does not back down from bigger players. Pretty quick and has a surprisingly high vertical for his size. Pretty good shooter, especially off the catch. Quick and high release which should help against more size and length. Like the way Chavez plays. Could see him breaking out and averaging double-figures in points in his senior season.
