Britton Dutton, 6’0, G, 2023, Ellinwood
A high scoring option for Ellinwood and an intelligent and strong overall player. He can connect in a variety of ways from the field and has good control and shows a good upside as a scorer. As a freshman he averaged an impressive 18 points per game and also had 4.8 rebounds, two assists and 1.2 steals. He has a way of getting transition looks and can attack the basket and get to the free throw line as well.
Brekyn Ratzlaff, PG, 2023, Hillsboro
Another impressive scorer and outside threat who has a solid rhythm to his game. He can create for his teammates and is good at making extra passes and finding teammates inside and around the basket. Ratzlaff has a nice touch on the perimeter and can run the show well for his age and also has a soft shot from the wing and the top of the key.
Jaxson Brandl, 6’0, G, 2023, Greeley County
Another standout freshman from a season ago who made a strong statement offensively. He scores well inside and can stretch the floor when he handles the ball and looks to score from outside the paint. He is also an aggressive rebounder on defense and can also clean up plays on the offensive boards as well. Brandl averaged 21 points, 1.4 assist, 9.8 rebounds, 2.3 steals and one block per game.
Makaen Hastings, 5’6, G, 2023, Solomon
The leading scorer for Solomon and also a mobile player who flies around the court and can score from distance and the mid-range area. He has good speed and can zip through defensive presses and get up the floor and to the basket. He is an underrated passer and has an eye for the lead guard position. Hastings averaged 14.6 points, 2.4 assist, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game.
Braxton Lafferty, 5’10, G, 2023, Little River
Another standout for Little River and an up-and-coming player in the area. He has good footwork and is a strong perimeter defender who adds size and speed and can come away with the ball and kick off fast break looks for himself and his teammates. Lafferty averaged 10 points per game and added 4.5 rebounds, 1.6 assist and 2.3 steals per game.
