The Omaha area has no shortage of shooters across every class. This list highlights the players that had impressive seasons from deep this past year. These are the top 10 shooters from Omaha returning to school next year.

1. [player_tooltip player_id="958192" first="Ryan" last="Larsen"]

Larsen is a three point specialist and pure jump shooter. He has balance, a quick release on his shot, and he keeps the ball high on the catch, never dipping below his shoulder. He made 47 threes at 44% shooting during his junior season.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="958179" first="Marcus" last="Shakeer"]

Shakeer is an athletic leaper that looks to get out in transitions and get to the rim. He also has deep three point range and can create shots for himself off the dribble. Shakeer shot 40% from three with 49 makes as a junior. If he continues to improve his shot selection, he could see his percentage go up even more.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="890583" first="Kyle" last="Ingwerson"]

Ingwerson is a good ball handler and scorer with great size. He creates for himself at every level and has a silky jump shot off the dribble or as a spot up shooter. He also a skilled passer that can play multiple positions. Ingwerson made 48 threes at 38% as a sophomore.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="890572" first="Reggie" last="Thomas"]

Thomas is a strong left handed combo guard that is effective off the ball as a shooter. He runs the floor and find open looks for himself in transition. He shot 43% with 40 threes made as a sophomore. Thomas is also a great defender that can guard multiple positions.

5. Tate Odvody

Odvody is skilled forward and one of the top players in the 2023 class. As a freshman, he went on a scoring tear as soon as he started to get consistent minutes, scoring 20 or more points in 6 games. Odvody shot 42% and made 33 threes in 15 games with legitimate minutes.

6. [player_tooltip player_id="946019" first="Brendan" last="Buckley"]

Buckley is a spot up shooting wing with a quick release. He can attack hard close outs with the dribble and finish with touch on the interior. He hit 30 three pointers 43% as a junior. Buckley hit 6 three pointers in a 37 point outing against Elkhorn South in February.

7. He an efficient scorer from the interior and perimeter that has soft touch and good footwork in the post. He was a 40% three point shooter as a junior and made 34 shots from deep.

8. [player_tooltip player_id="890571" first="Chandler" last="Meeks"]

Meeks is a quick and shifty combo guard. He is one of the best and most versatile defenders in the class. He is a good ball handler that is know for his ability to beat defenders off the dribble and get to the rim, but impressed with his shooting ability as a sophomore. After only making 1 three pointer as a freshman, Meeks made 26 threes in his second year and shot 46%.

9. [player_tooltip player_id="981701" first="Luke" last="Jungers"]

Jungers is a 6’9 big man with some guard skills and shooting touch. He stretches the floor as a shooter, can push in transition as a ball handler, and crossover slow footed bigs. He Rolls to the rim hard and seals defenders on the interior.
