We continue our position rankings by taking a look at the top shooting guards in the state. This ranking is regardless of class so we will be looking at the top 10 overall.

1. [player_tooltip player_id="787644" first="Jaquan" last="Harris"] (2022) | St. Thomas Aquinas: The Trojans have the top shooting guard in the state. Harris transferred to St. Thomas Aquinas and immediately made an impact. He is a scorer at all three levels and has great athleticism at 6’4.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="850752" first="Simeon" last="Wilcher"] (2023) | Roselle Catholic: Wilcher landed as the No. 8 player in the Class of 2023 nationally, according to ESPN. And for good reason. He can play with or without the ball in his hands. He is an incredible leaper and can defend anyone on the perimeter.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="850671" first="Otega" last="Oweh"] (2022) | Blair: Oweh will be at Blair after spending two years at Rutgers Prep. The 6’3 guard was one of the top shooters in the state this season. He has unlimited range and can score in the lane as well. Oweh is a true duel-threat player.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="850672" first="Kyle" last="Cuffee Jr."] (2022) | Blair: Cuffee has quickly rose to the top of New Jersey. The 6’1 guard can handle the ball in the half court of play on the perimeter. He uses his quickness and burst to get past defenders and score around the rim.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="850511" first="Amar’e" last="Marshall"] (2021) | Montclair Immaculate: Marshall burst onto the scene as a junior and created one of the top backcourts with [player_tooltip player_id="850330" first="Zion" last="Bethea"]. With Bethea gone, Marshall will have to step up and be the No. 1 option.

6. [player_tooltip player_id="850678" first="Keon" last="Sabb"] (2022) | Williamstown: Sabb is arguably the top all-around athlete in New Jersey. He is one of the top football players in the Class of 2022 and now is one of the top shooting guards. After transferring from Glassboro, Sabb played 16 games as a sophomore and averaged 21.2 points per game.

7. [player_tooltip player_id="901941" first="Elijah" last="Perkins"] (2022) | Ranney: Perkins is continuing the athletic excellence at Ranney that we have seen over the recent years. He is doing so by using his 6’3 frame to overpower defenders.

8. [player_tooltip player_id="900328" first="Rayshawn" last="Ford"] (2021) | St. Peter’s Prep: Ford emerged as a dominant scorer and finisher for St. Peter’s Prep. He compliments the play of [player_tooltip player_id="850664" first="Mark" last="Armstrong"] well and that is something that the team needs. He will be back for one more year and will continue to grow his game.

9. [player_tooltip player_id="901951" first="Daniel" last="Skillings"] (2022) | St. Joe’s (Hamm.): Skillings is one of the hidden gems in Jersey. And he should not be. At 6’5, Skillings can do it all. He runs the floor well and can defend all five positions. He took over many games on the offensive end and on the boards.

10. [player_tooltip player_id="850515" first="Justin" last="Glover"] (2021) | Hudson Catholic: With Zion Cruz transferring, this leaves Glover as one of the best options to take over the leadership role. He is a midrange player that can venture out further if needed.
