The next in the ’Top-140 most impactful in AIA’ countdown, we look at numbers 8-14.

Remember, these are not player rankings but how much they impact their team along with the talent they go against during the season.

A lot of these players in the end can be put in different rankings for the final-36, but now I am looking for players who are putting up stats while winning games. Not an easy task to do. Most will have one or the other.

Here are the next seven:

[player_tooltip player_id="809683" first="Nicholas" last="Riley"] (Chandler) (Pictured)

-The man in the middle will be on one of the top 6A teams. He had himself a breakout season with 14.4 points 10.6 rebounds and 2.5 blocks and he’ll dominate inside once again next season. In their last two playoff games he was unbelievable with 27 points 11 rebounds and 6 blocks vs Hamilton plus 21 points 14 rebounds and 4 blocks vs Mountain Pointe. As talented as their team is, Riley may be the most impactful for the Wolves next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="809687" first="Zereoue" last="Williams"] (Mountain Pointe)

-The big man keeps growing his game. He is a warrior in the paint and not many play harder. He averaged 11.8 rebounds and 4.2 blocks this season and he will be a state leader in rebounds and blocks next season regardless of classification. Williams will try and anchor their defense back to the 6A Chip.

[player_tooltip player_id="809681" first="Keiren" last="Brown"] (St. Mary’s)

-The heart and soul of the Knights and team leader is Brown. He is as tough as they come for guards. He is strong and can score through contact plus post you up. He will be a 4A POY candidate next season. The Knights lost in the Final-4 last year and will try to win it all next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="703835" first="JJ" last="White"] (Ironwood)

-The tough 3 and D guard just keeps improving every season. He averaged 12.7 points 2.3 assists 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 steals last season. He was pivotal in the 5A state Chip and will be leaned on even more next season with a slew of talented seniors graduating.

[player_tooltip player_id="809673" first="Max" last="Majerle"] (Arcadia)

--The Titans move up to 5A next year and Majerle will have a chance to take them on a deep run with an older team. He averaged 13.9 points 3 assists 5.2 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game. Arcadia was the #5 seed in 4A and bring back three top-notch starters led by Max.

[player_tooltip player_id="809694" first="Moses" last="Demalek"] (Paradise Valley)

-One of the more versatile players in 5A will be a force next season. He averaged 12 points 4.2 assists 7.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. He plays nearly all 5 positions for the Trojans and with [player_tooltip player_id="804770" first="Anthony" last="Giliberto"] graduating with his 18 points and 11 rebounds, Demalek will take on the brunt of the production. They were the #10 seed in 5A last season.

[player_tooltip player_id="809675" first="Colin" last="Carey"] (Sunrise Mountain)

-A scoring forward that has a beautiful jumper. He averaged 17.1 points 7 rebounds 1.7 assists and 1 steal per game. With [player_tooltip player_id="804797" first="Tanner" last="Mayer"]’s 19 points and 10 rebounds graduating, Carey will most likely be one of the state leaders in scoring. The Mustangs were the #12 seed in 5A last year.
