2022 loaded with elite talented players in all positions. Every player is going to have college coaches on every level coming after them. Here are the players who stick out to me by position in the 2022 class.

Point Guards

[player_tooltip player_id="725184" first="Jamarion" last="Ryans"] 5’11″ / Hale County

Ryans is the whole package for a point guard who commands the floor every time he steps on. His ability to knock down the three-ball contested makes him a huge threat.

[player_tooltip player_id="725171" first="Jacari" last="Lane"]s 5’11″ / Lee-Huntsville

Like his last name, this floor general has no problem getting into the lane to finish. He is going to make anybody that plays against him uncomfortable with his aggressiveness.

[player_tooltip player_id="802665" first="Jayden" last="Buckley"] 6’0″ / Auburn

Buckley lets the game come to him, with poise. He sees the floor well and has the green light from the three that is deadly.

Combo/Shooting Guards

[player_tooltip player_id="725169" first="Antonio" last="Kite"] 6’2″ / G Anniston

Kite can score in many ways, but from the perimeter he is a problem for others. His ability to score when he wants makes it hard for his opponent.

[player_tooltip player_id="725152" first="Wilder" last="Evers"] 6’3″ / CG Oak Mountain

Evers brings energy to the floor every game. His jump shot has a smooth and quick release, which is why he has no problem knocking down the three. Certified bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id="890741" first="Knute" last="Wood"] 6’4″ / SG Brooks

Wood plays with control and poise. He knows his role, which is a knockdown sniper from the three and a solid defender.

Forwards

[player_tooltip player_id="725183" first="Martavious" last="Russell"] 6’4″ / SF Sipsey Valley

Russell is a very versatile player that could play any position on the floor. Him playing the post makes him, even more, dominate because his speed and quickness will make it a mismatch for his opponent.

[player_tooltip player_id="890737" first="Barry" last="Dunning"]s 6’6″ / SF McGill-Toolen

Dunnings is an excellent skilled post player with good footwork. His height plus his athleticism helps his ability to score in the post better than others.

[player_tooltip player_id="890743" first="Dresean" last="Knight"] 6’9″ / C Minor

Knight has an old school game, which makes him scary to play against. Any team would want him to play for them because he is a big-time shot blocker that will defend the paint all game.
