Wilhelm Breidenbach (Mater Dei, Big) The 6’9 Monarch may be the most consistent player in his class. Breideinbach is a consistent double double and showed his ability to score and rebound in the Top 20 game. Breidenbach finished with a game high 23 points and scored in a myriad of ways. He consistently can finish with either hand around the rim, and attacks the boards hard. Wilhelm possesses a very high IQ and knows how to use his body and angles to finish at the basket. He also displays the potential to space the floor and hit the open jumper when left open. Breidenbach is a very high motor player and can make a contribution to any colleges that pick him up.
Brendan Terry (Crossroads, Wing) One of the players with the biggest potential to breakout in the 2021 class is Brendan Terry of Crossroads. The 6’5 wing has a developing skill set to add to his great frame and physical tools. Terry scored 15 points in the Top 20 game, showcasing his impressive finishing skills, high motor, and ability to get to the rim. Terry also has an improving shot and shows potential to add a consistent 3 ball to his repertoire. Terry has a high ceiling and was recently re-invited to participate in the Germany 18u Mini Camps.
Brenton Knapper (Colony, Guard) Explosiveness is the first thing that you see when you take a look at Knapper. The 6’1″ guard also has excellent acceleration and change of pace to compliment his jumping ability and quickness. Knapper’s ability to turn on the jets at any moments opens up other parts of his game. Defenders who back up and give him too much space will get a jumper knocked down in their face. On the defensive end, Brenton has excellent hands to go along with his good ability to shuffle his feet and stay in front of his man. He also plays the passing lanes well and can dart in for a steal at any given moment. Knapper will rise as one of the top guards of the 2021 class when it is said and done.
TJ Wainwright (Westchester, Guard) Scorching the nets with 5 three pointers en route to 19 points, Wainwright showed why he will be one of the top players in LA City Section next year. In addition to his ability to score, Wainwright had his passing game on display showing off his vision and playmaking abilities. Wainwright is a leader and looking forward to the season, the Comets will have an excellent floor general to lead them to a potential back to back City Section Championship.
Maxwell Lewis Maxwell Lewis 6'6" | SF Hillcrest Prep | 2020 #66 Nation AZ (Hillcrest Prep, Wing) The 6’7″ wing who transferred to Hillcrest last month is one of the most athletic players of his class. Maxwell boasts an incredible vertical leap along with stringy and slithery ability to get to the rim. Fastbreaks are highlight reels waiting to happen when he is in the open court. Lewis is full of potential and a team who can work and develop him will be getting a gem.
