Pangos League Utah: Day 2

<p>With very little going on in the state when it comes to teams playing, Dinos Trigonis has made his way to Utah to provide a platform for players to play against different talent across the state. </p> <p>With around 100 participating players with various skill levels. Players in this league are split into different teams. This showcase type of a league lets us evaluate talent.</p> <p>The teams have been hand selected with only a few players playing with their high school teammates. It was easy to see that there was a learning curve for players involved as they learned to play with their new teammates. There was also some competitive adrenaline being released while players got their game legs back. </p> <p>Here are a few players that stood out after Day 2.</p> <p>We start off Day 2 with two youngsters that just looked different on the court against their counterparts. </p> <p><strong>6’0 [player_tooltip player_id="934025" first="Jordan" last="Ross"] (Pleasant Grove)</strong></p> <p>Jordan displayed a smooth game as he dribbles with ease setting up his man to get off his shot. He has increased his range and he is pulling up without hesitation. Jordan has turned the heads of some major programs with the skills he currently posses. Will turn into a solid guard in the years to come. </p> <p><strong>6’2 Mason Bendinger (Woods Cross)</strong></p> <p>Mainly unknown to most Mason is turning heads with his high motor game at both ends of the floor. He is strong and crafty with some leaping ability. He can score off the bounce, pulling up or on a spot shot. He is a player that just makes shots. Look for him to fill in nicely next year at WX. </p> <p><strong>6’4 [player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"] (Farmington)</strong></p> <p>Collin has improved his outside shooting and he is tough to stop in the open court because he is crafty and just knows how to finish. He can hang in the air and finish off of bumps. He is fun to watch. Colllin will be a tough player to stop next season as he can score at all three levels. </p> <p><strong>6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="955355" first="Nico" last="Smith"] (Judge Memorial)</strong></p> <p>Elite team player that can find pockets in the defense and make them pay with his ability to really knock it down from the outside. He runs the break and finds his spots. Great off the dribble but even better when he is catching and shooting. </p> <p><strong>6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="755646" first="Bodi" last="Nageli"] (Herriman)</strong></p> <p>Tough and strong guard that goes 100 mph. He is a slashing guard that is making people pay for sagging off of him. Should have a big year next season</p> <p><strong>6’7 [player_tooltip player_id="755642" first="Bradley" last="Thornton"] (West)</strong></p> <p>Surprise of the day was watching Bradley run the floor and use his strength and skill. This kid is a sleeper talent. Excited to watch his game improve through the off-season. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
