<p>The Skyland Conference has some of the top teams in the state including Gill St. Bernard’s and Rutgers Prep. Here are some of the key returners For the 2020-2021 season.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850666" first="Denver" last="Anglin"] (2022) | Gill St. Bernard’s</strong></p>
<p>Gill St. Bernard’s has two key returners in Anglin and [player_tooltip player_id="902732" first="Mackenzie" last="Mgbako"]. Anglin will take over the ball handling duties on the perimeter. He showed his ability to score at all three levels. As a junior, he will have to take over some games on the offensive end and this is something he is capable of.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="901978" first="Quadir" last="Harrell"] (2022) | Bound Brook</strong></p>
<p>Harrell burst onto the scene as a sophomore as a complete scorer. He finished with 502 points on the season with 110 of them coming from the free throw line. This means that Harrell knew how to raw contact in the lane among larger defenders. He is a gifted ball handler and can pass with the best of them in the state.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900332" first="Chad" last="Martini"] (2021) | Watchung Hills</strong></p>
<p>Martini is a double-double machine. During his junior year, he made a name for himself as one of the conference’s most well-rounded players. He averaged 10.1 points and 10 rebounds per game. He can score at will in the lane using his size and plethora of moves. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850507" first="Noah" last="Harris"] (2021) | Rutgers Prep</strong></p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="850499" first="Trey" last="Patterson"] will enter the 2020-2021 season as the top player in New Jersey. Joining him on the floor at Rutgers Prep is an extremely versatile guard. Harris finished near the top of the state with 97 made three’s and was also top three in assists. He is a stat sheet filler on both ends.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="901972" first="Drew" last="Zalescik"] (2021) | South Hunterdon</strong></p>
<p>Zalescik was a force on the offensive end from the first game of the season. He averaged 18 points as a junior and that number could rise in his final season. He is a three-point threat and he uses that to get past defenders on the perimeter as well if they get too close.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="929527" first="Kyle" last="Rolon"] (2021) | Somerville</strong></p>
<p>Rolon was one of the top scorers for Somerville as a junior. He knocked down 40 three’s and was able to get easy baskets at the rim at will. Rolon will return to Somerville as their No. 1 option in 2020-2021.</p>
