The Jacksonville area has a lot of underrated talent.

Specifically, with the point guard group in the 2021 class, set to be seniors this fall there is a lot to like.

Here is a look at the Top 10 point guards in the Jacksonville 2021 class. Check back later this week to see the rest of the positional groups in the 2021 class from Jacksonville.

#1 - [player_tooltip player_id="953425" first="Bobby" last="Crouch"] | 6-1 | Bolles

[player_tooltip player_id="953425" first="Bobby" last="Crouch"] is one of the top prospects in the Jacksonville area, perhaps right behind 2020 UCF commit [player_tooltip player_id="552600" first="Isaiah" last="Adams"]. He averaged 18.5 PPG, 4.9 APG, 4.7 RPG and 2.3 SPG and did just about everything running the show for Bolles. Crouch can hurt you in a variety of ways, first and foremost as a speedy attacker at the glass. He has superb handles and can create his own shot, which is smooth as can be. He is a true leader. Highlights via Hudl.

#2 - [player_tooltip player_id="953496" first="Teron" last="Haywood"] | 5-8 | Lee

The top junior assist man in the entire state of Florida was [player_tooltip player_id="953496" first="Teron" last="Haywood"] with 7.3 APG. The unselfish lead guard had 189 assists on the season with six performances in double digits which featured two 12-assist nights. As a scorer, he can do his thing with 12 double-digit games led by a 20-point night against Tallahassee Lincoln. Haywood is a perfect leader for Lee playing alongside high-major wing [player_tooltip player_id="714771" first="Alex" last="Fudge"] and the rest of the athletic group. He is the truest point guard we have in Jacksonville and perhaps the entire state right now.

#3 - [player_tooltip player_id="818667" first="Justin" last="Hicks"] 6-3 Bishop Snyder

[player_tooltip player_id="818667" first="Justin" last="Hicks"] made the switch back to Bishop Snyder a few weeks ago after playing at West Nassau last season. He immediately slid in as a reliable No. 2 option alongside our No. 3 ranked 2021 prospect [player_tooltip player_id="527374" first="Deebo" last="Coleman"] (who earned an Ohio State offer on Wednesday). Hicks is a very well rounded athlete who is not skinny by any means and isn’t shy when going to the rack. He averaged 13.7 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 4.0 APG this season and was a great lead point man alongside Coleman for West Nassau. Highlights via Hudl.

#4 - [player_tooltip player_id="953424" first="Simeon" last="Womack"] | 6-2 |Stanton

Stanton groomed a leader and a captain in guard [player_tooltip player_id="953424" first="Simeon" last="Womack"]. He flashed his true scoring ability while averaging 18.5 PPG reaching double digits in all but one game which was led by a season-best 28 point outing against Middleburg. On top of that, Womack averaged 3.6 APG and 3.3 RPG. He controls the tempo for this group and his ability to score and dish it out is very helpful for the cause. Look for him to build off of his impressive junior campaign and continue to shine at Stanton.

#5 - [player_tooltip player_id="953472" first="Brakhel" last="Burch"] | 5-9 | St. Augustine

[player_tooltip player_id="953472" first="Brakhel" last="Burch"] was named All-St. Johns County Boys Basketball Player of The Year by The St. Augustine Record. He is a crafty prospect who fought through adversity, averaging 11.8 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 2.6 SPG and 2.0 APG. In two regional playoff games, Burch averaged 18.5 points to put his team in the regional semifinals for first time in 11 years. The strong guard is a reliable shooter, slasher, heads up passer and a hard worker in transition on both ends of the floor. Burch is a very underrated talent. Highlights via Hudl.

#6 - [player_tooltip player_id="818735" first="Quinnton" last="Jackson"] | 5-10 | Paxon

Paxon is a team filled with quick and shifty guards who paired well with [player_tooltip player_id="552600" first="Isaiah" last="Adams"] during the last two state semifinal runs. [player_tooltip player_id="818735" first="Quinnton" last="Jackson"] is a true leader and a point man who can certainly hold his own defensively on top of scoring and passing the ball with ease. His handles are superb and he’s able to mix it up on the offensive end with consistent scoring, topped by a 22-point game against Raines. Jackson is in for a banner year this fall. Highlights via Hudl.

#7 - [player_tooltip player_id="953515" first="Jarrion" last="Smith"] | 6-1 | Lee

Playing next to Haywood, [player_tooltip player_id="953515" first="Jarrion" last="Smith"] is a very nice complement who can handle the rock and create plenty of space on the offensive end for a fast-paced Lee group. He averaged 9.8 PPG, 7.2 RPG and 1.1 APG. He is a versatile guard who likes to run the show but also play unselfish with efforts on the glass, smart shooting and heads up feeds up the floor. Smith will continue his steady play.

#8 - Jakobe Williams & [player_tooltip player_id="714817" first="Maurice" last="Willie"] | 5-11 | Paxon

Jakobe Williams and [player_tooltip player_id="714817" first="Maurice" last="Willie"] are both 5’11" and do plenty alongside Jackson. Really just an interchangeable and coachable trio, Williams averaged 6.6 PPG, 3.5 RPG and 1.9 APG while Willie averaged 5.3 PPG, 2.4 RPG and 1.8 APG. It was hard to pick just one of these players since they both perform at a high level. Paxon is in good hands once again this fall even with the departure of Adams as the guard play is very impressive.

#9 - Davion Fitzgerald | 5-11 | Seacoast Christian

At 2A Seacoast Christian, Davion Fitzgerald is part of a nice 2021 class. He finished second on the team in scoring with 13.5 PPG while also averaging 3.5 APG, 2.9 RPG and 2.3 SPG. He had 14 games in double digits led by five with 20 plus points. Fitzgerald mixes it up on the offensive end, but his patience and ability to handle the ball and run the offense is fun to watch.

#10 - Javon Heggs | 6-2 | Fletcher

Doubling as a wide receiver for the football team, Javon Heggs did his thing for the Fletcher basketball squad alongside 2021 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id="818673" first="Zyhir" last="Sims"]. He averaged 8.5 PPG, 3.8 APG and 3.1 RPG with eight games with five or more assists topped by an 8-assist night against Mandarin. Heggs is a pure athlete and a kid who plays with a purpose.
