<p>The Class of 2023 has plenty of point guard talent led by DJ Wagner and [player_tooltip player_id="850752" first="Simeon" last="Wilcher"]. There are other players on the rankings that have a chance to rise prior to the season.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="933733" first="Darrien" last="Grady"] | Moorestown Friends</strong></p>
<p>Grady burst onto the scene as a huge scorer during his freshman season. He scored a total of 532 points and went for 20 or more points 16 times. This includes the final seven games of the season and a 44-point performance against Abington Friends (PA). Grady knocked down 56 three’s and showed that he is a scorer at all three levels.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902758" first="Lorenzo" last="Perez"] | Perth Amboy</strong></p>
<p>Perez was one of the top options for Perth Amboy in 2019-2020. At 5’10, Perez can use his size to absorb contact and finish at the rim. He was able to get to the free throw line with great regularity. Perez knocked down 26 three’s and displayed a strong midrange game.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="933045" first="Noah" last="Payne"] | Eastern</strong></p>
<p>Payne has a chance to step up as a sophomore with the loss of [player_tooltip player_id="896459" first="Noah" last="Klinewski"]. Eastern will have [player_tooltip player_id="929514" first="Zubair" last="Lee"] back to dominate down low and Payne can balance the floor and control the offense. He is a gifted ball handler in the open floor. He knows how to use his quickness and athleticism to get the best of his defender.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="933050" first="Jordan" last="Poole"] | Burlington Township</strong></p>
<p>Poole is a talented guard that will have a huge impact for Burlington Township as a sophomore. He will be handed more responsibility with the loss of some key players. Poole can score at a high rate and run the offense in the half court.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902754" first="Jordan" last="Atkins"] | Rutgers Prep</strong></p>
<p>Atkins has the luxury of learning from two of the top players in New Jersey in [player_tooltip player_id="850499" first="Trey" last="Patterson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="850507" first="Noah" last="Harris"]. Rutgers Prep is one of the top teams in the state and they will continue to improve with Atkins on the floor. He is a capable shooter and can be a key contributor next season.</p>
