The Shore Conference is one of the biggest and most competitive conferences in the state. It is full of talent that will be returning for next season and these are some of the best shooters to keep an eye on.

Patrick Lacey (2021) | Wall

Lacey took the next step as a junior and this put him in prime position to take over as the team’s No. 1 option on offense. He knocked down 42 three’s and was a threat from all three levels. Wall won 24 games this season and they will have a chance to win another state sectional title behind Lacey.

Matt Lee (2022) | Point Pleasant Boro

Lee has arrived at Point Boro. The shifty point guard was one of the top shooters in the conference with 56 made three’s. Lee knew how to lull his defenders to sleep on the perimeter and get a quick shot off over them. He is not the biggest guard but he knows how to use his size as an advantage.

Aleksy Friedman (2021) | Marlboro

Friedman was one of the key pieces for a Marlboro team that did not have much depth. He led the team in three-point shooting with 49 makes on the season. Friendman was a nice compliment to [player_tooltip player_id="896675" first="Alex" last="Ratner"] and [player_tooltip player_id="931028" first="Jack" last="Seidler"] with the way he could play both ends and get to the rim with efficiency. He is a talented prospect that will be must watch next season.

Jack Collins (2021) | Manasquan

What a year it was for Manasquan. They finished 31-1 behind the Conference Player of the Year [player_tooltip player_id="901942" first="Ben" last="Roy"]. The sophomore point guard could be featured on every Shore list but we will highlight his teammate for this one. Collins was a threat from deep all season long. He knocked down 31 three’s and showed strength from midrange as well. He was a huge part of the team’s offense making them deeper. He will enter his senior year expecting to take another step forward.

Chris Frontera (2021) | Manalapan

Frontera did most of his work from the three-point line this season. He emerged as a legit threat on both ends and that will carry over into his final season. Frontera showed an ability to shoot with unlimited range and get shots off quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id="901973" first="Brandon" last="Klatsky"] (2022) | Ranney

Ranney had another strong season solidifying themselves as one of the top programs in the Shore. [player_tooltip player_id="901941" first="Elijah" last="Perkins"] emerged as a star for the team and Klatsky set the tone for the rest of his career early on. He has a smooth stroke from outside and can shoot from anywhere on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="900292" first="Sam" last="Fagan"] (2021) | Neptune

Fagan was a big game player this season. He has the ability to take over games on the offensive end which he did many times for Neptune during their run to the state championship. It will be interesting to see what Fagan does as a senior.
