Top Combo Guards in Bergen County

<p>Bergen County is full of extremely talented guards like [player_tooltip player_id="850662" first="Will" last="Richardson"], [player_tooltip player_id="850683" first="Julian" last="Brown"], and [player_tooltip player_id="933648" first="Niko" last="Ruffin"]. That is just the tip of the iceberg. Here are some other big time combo guards in the area. </p>
<p><b>Logan Wejnert (2022) | Waldwick</b></p>
<p>One of the hidden gems in Bergen county is Wejnert of Waldwick. He averaged 18.9 points per game and knocked down 52 three’s. Wejnert will be one of the top returning threats in Bergen County. The agile guard can make plays on both ends and take over a game offensively.</p>
<p><b>Ashanti Caviness (2021) | Bogota</b></p>
<p>Bogota won 19 games this season and will return some key players. Caviness is one of them and he is one of the most versatile. The junior showed an ability to play and defend all five positions. Caviness knocked down 23 three’s and scored 13 points per game.</p>
<p><b>Steven Faussette (2021) | Hasbrouck Heights</b></p>
<p>Hasbrouck Heights will return some key guards trying to build off a 20 win season. Faussette is one of them and he serves a great purpose near the three-point line. Faussette knocked down 46 three’s as a junior. He showed the ability to handle the ball and run the offense or play without it on the wing. </p>
<p><b>Stephen Crandall (2021) | Wood-Ridge</b></p>
<p>Crandall was a doubledigit scorer for Wood-Ridge this season because of his ability at all three levels. He hit 44 three’s as a junior and that number can be expected to skyrocket as he plays his final season.</p>
<p><b>Chris Tamraz (2021) | Dumont</b></p>
<p>Dumont has a dominant inside presence in [player_tooltip player_id="900364" first="Dominick" last="Barlow"] and they will return Tamraz on the perimeter as well. He served as a do it all guard on both ends for Dumont. Tamraz could go get a bucket if needed or come up with a steal on the other end. </p>
<p><b>Alejandro Arango (2022) | Memorial</b></p>
<p>Arango is exactly what people mean when they say the quarterback of an offense. He was the guard to set up the offense and execute to perfection. He led the team in assists and steals which makes him a dynamic duel-threat.</p>
