#16 [player_tooltip player_id="952198" first="Kelvin" last="Balfour"] (Aurora West)

The 6’3” senior was magnificent throughout the game against Waubonsie Valley with his combination of athleticism and skill. Really solid mid-range game knocking down a handful of them getting elevation on his shot. He got hurt in the third quarter with an ankle injury, but gutted it out to finish with 17 points. His motor and will to win were apparent in this game!

#17 [player_tooltip player_id="939055" first="Cam" last="Christie"] (Rolling Meadows)

The little brother had a standout performance at the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic. Probably the best we have seen him in his young career. At 6’0” he was a factor early in transition getting loose for scoop shots and pull up jumpers. Capable three point shooter. Showed a solid feel for the game as a freshman. He had 16 points and 5 dimes.

#18 [player_tooltip player_id="916714" first="Kaden" last="Froebe"] (Lincoln)

Froebe really impressed us with his play against his metro east opponent at the Collinsville Holiday Tournament. The 6’3” lefty two guard is crafty with the ball in his hands. Sound perimeter shooter knocking down two early from distance. Also had a couple nifty drives, passed it well, and drilled his free throws for 16 points.

#19 [player_tooltip player_id="952164" first="Davaris" last="Macklin"] (Carbondale)

Macklin put his name on our radar for sure with a strong couple games at the SIT. Good length from his wing spot. The lefty has a smooth looking jumper that he connected on from three multiple times again. Free and easy release. He is also quick to the glass for second chance opportunities and plays with a good motor. Went for 16 points against East St. Louis.

#20 [player_tooltip player_id="916766" first="Mannuel" last="Rodriguez"] (Morton)

Rodriguez did everything he could to keep his team in the Proviso championship game. The 5’10” point guard banked in a runner, but almost all of his other damage came from three. Moves well without the ball finding opening is the defense that are vacated. He goes there and let it rip from three when he gets the ball. Made a handful of them for 20 points.
