<p>Region 8 produced the 5A State Champion in Springville this past season but Region 8 will have a different look with a lot of those players graduating. With 8 team sin this region there is one team that stood out last season that had some underclassmen that could possible take it next season. A lot of the teams in the region besides last seasons top two lacked consistent play.</p>
<p>Provo High School could be the team to beat as they return two solid players in Juan Pablo Camargo and Isaac Castagneto. At 6’7 JPC has some solid upside and could be one of the best skilled bigs in the region. Isaac has that all-around game that coaches desire. </p>
<p>Maple Mountain will be lead by [player_tooltip player_id="955343" first="Tyler" last="Nelson"] who had a solid year this past season. Maple Mountain had a lot of players that made solid contribution but will need to step it up. </p>
<p>Payson is that team that can make a big jump in the standings because they return some players that can score and some height in 6’7 Parker Larsen and Samuel Mitchell. </p>
<p>Salem Hills looses a lot of seniors that did most of the contribution to last years team. 6’1 Austin Hallows will need a lot of help this upcoming season.</p>
<p>Spanish Fork could have a much improved season from this past one with a group of players that could contribute. </p>
<p>Wasatch will have a new look team and they will need [player_tooltip player_id="755650" first="Colin" last="Hughes"] to take a big step up to have Wasatch compete in the region. </p>
<p>Park City has a team that could surprise a lot of people with [player_tooltip player_id="543095" first="Adam" last="Spink"], [player_tooltip player_id="967685" first="Mitch" last="Lind"] and [player_tooltip player_id="967693" first="Carson" last="Tabaracci"] have a some guard play that could cause a lot of problems across the region. </p>
