<p>Who are the top rebounders in Northern Virginia? The purpose of this article is to highlight some of the very best, regardless of class. Below you will find, in alphabetical order by last name, 10 of the top board men you will find in the region. This is part of a series that will aim to highlight players based on various superlatives.</p>
<p><em>Note: these superlative lists will not be mutually exclusive. If someone can handle the ball and do something else (i.e. shoot) at a high level, they will be included in both lists. </em></p>
<h5><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="962798" first="Zach" last="Bolgert"] | Fairfax Christian ’22</strong></h5>
<p>Bolgert is known for his ability to stretch the floor from the five, but he’s also a very good rebounder. He is particularly effective on the offensive glass as a result of his unrelenting motor.</p>
<h5><strong>Jack Dolan | Flint Hill ’21 </strong></h5>
<p>Energy is Dolan’s calling card. He is a workhorse on the boards and will get the opportunity to produce consistently given the departure of [player_tooltip player_id="687579" first="Noel" last="Brown"] and [player_tooltip player_id="687564" first="Dowar" last="Jioklow"].</p>
<h5><strong>Dayvon Faulk | Tuscarora ’21</strong></h5>
<p>Faulk is a long, athletic big who rebounds the ball particularly well in traffic. He’s coordinated and has very strong hands.</p>
<h5><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902072" first="Caleb" last="Furr"] | Highland ’21</strong></h5>
<p>Furr is very good at using his frame to box out and rebound well in his area. He’s got soft hands which helps him keep possession upon receiving it off the glass. </p>
<h5><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957893" first="Jack" last="Jensen"] | Paul VI ’21 </strong></h5>
<p>Jensen is a jack-of-all-trades at 6-foot-8, and rebounding is one of his best attributes. He is equally effective at collecting the ball off the boards in or out of his area.</p>
<h5><strong>DJ Johnson | Patriot ’22</strong></h5>
<p>Johnson is a physical paint presence who is a relentless rebounder. He moves bodies in the paint and is very good at getting in the right position to win the ball. </p>

<p>Mason is a long-limbed big man with very strong hands. His hands along with his coordination are two reasons why he’s a prolific board man. </p>
<h5><strong>Larry Wright | Potomac ’21</strong></h5>
<p>Wright is the definition of a glass cleaner. He’s got length, hands, and athleticism which give him an advantage over most opponents.</p>
<h5><strong>Greg Williams | Fairfax ’21</strong></h5>
<p>Williams is a lanky lefty who can rebound in or out of his area. He plays with a high motor and this gives him an edge on the offensive boards.</p>
<h5><strong>Cephas Wilson-Bahun | John Paul the Great ’21</strong></h5>
<p>Wilson-Bahun is productive on the boards, both in and out of his area, as a result of his combination of length and athleticism. He demonstrates strong hands, good coordination, and a high work rate.</p>
