<p>Who are the top ball-handlers currently attending school in Montgomery County? The purpose of this article is to highlight some of the very best, regardless of class. Below you will find, listed in alphabetical order by last name, 10 of the top ball-handlers from MoCo. This is part of a series that will aim to highlight players based on various superlatives.</p>
<p><em>Note: these superlative lists will not be mutually exclusive. If someone can handle the ball and do something else (i.e. shoot) at a high level, they will be included in both lists. </em></p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="836498" first="Juan" last="Bell"] | Paint Branch ’21</h5>
<p>Bell was one of the first names that came to mind when thinking of this list. He's been the engine behind Paint Branch's offense for a few years now. A crafty paint getter, Bell excels at getting downhill, penetrating the defense off the dribble, and making things happen. </p>

<p>A skilled ball-handler with good length, Curtis keeps the ball on a string. His development was key to Springbrook's success last season and will continue to be moving forward. </p>

<p>One of many skilled ball-handlers on a Bullis roster loaded with talented guards, Hanin is the most reliable of the bunch. Sporting a high assist-to-turnover ratio, he is a steady influence on the offense both in half-court and transition.</p>

<p>This past season was huge for Jacks in terms of his growth as Good Counsel's floor general. He did a commendable job handling pressure and initiating offense each time they hit the court.</p>

<p>Johnson Jr. is a quick guard with a confident handle. He gets consistent paint touches because of his burst and quick first step.</p>

<p>A three-year starter, Lewis is a fearless point guard who can get anywhere on the court with the ball. He dribbles with his head up and keeps the ball low at all times, making it virtually impossible to steal it away. </p>

<p>Lilly is a solid primary-ball handler and a talented shot creator. He uses his handle to effectively generate offense off the dribble for himself and others. </p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="904654" first="Bryce" last="Sewell"] | Georgetown Prep ’22</h5>
<p>Sewell appears to have the starting PG position at Georgetown Prep locked up for the next couple of years. A downhill-type lead guard who takes care of the ball, he showed promise this past season and we like his upside moving forward.</p>

<p>Stubin is a crafty-ball handler who has been a standout over the past two seasons at Walter Johnson. He's effective both on the ball as a primary initiator or off the ball as a secondary. </p>

<p>Skill is probably the biggest selling point with Margarites. He showcases a tight handle as part of his robust all-around skill set. </p>
