17U Preview – West Central United

<p>West Central United looks to have one of the best center prospects in the 2021 class with shooters around him.  West Central continues to build as one of the state's more consistent and competitive programs. Here is the West Central United preview.  </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="774832" first="Grant" last="Beuckens"]</strong> of West Central (5’11, PG).  Grant knocked out 13 points per game for a 27-3 veteran team.  Very good rebounder for his position and a much more explosive talent than people realize. Solid mid-range game with great vision. </p> <p><strong>Anthony Conzemius</strong> of Breckenridge (6’6, PF). One of the starting bigs for the Cowboys Anthony scored 2-3 buckets a contest as a junior getting better as the year moved on.  Solid shot blocker and an active rebounder. </p> <p><strong>Jack Courneya</strong> of Frazee (6’4, SG).  The leading scorer for Frazee, Jack put up 13 points a contest. We say shooting guard but he played a lot of PG for his high school this year mixing great vision with quality ball skills.  Also was the point man pressuring the ball for his team. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="774868" first="Chance" last="Fazio"]</strong> of Fergus Falls (6’11, C). Fazio’s game took big steps this winter as he scored 16 a game for a 25-4 Otters team. Chance is a top 30 level prospect in Minnesota, top 4-5 among centers. Loved how he moved off the high ball screen for positioned scores both this fall and with what we reviewed this winter. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="774773" first="Corbin" last="Froelich"]</strong> of Paynesville Area (6’4, SF). A top 50 player in the state with the scoring touch of a scholarship level player.  Averaged 21.6 points a game with 6.7 rebounds a contest.  A quick release with his jumper, an artist moving off screens to create space, and a player that can handle and play off the ball. </p> <p><strong>Carson Hespe</strong> of Perham (6’7, C).  A developing Perham junior varsity player that is working to have a bigger varsity role. Hespe runs well and as he gains experience he will really add to the Jackets list of threats. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="567093" first="Elijah" last="Morris"]</strong> of Perham (6’1, ). Morris is one of the state’s best shooters and he scored a dozen a game for one of the elite teams in the state.  Expanded his game this year for the Jackets and we think he could have a breakout season with West Central United. One of the best releases in Minnesota. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="774821" first="Jaden" last="Norby"]</strong> of Ashby (6’4, PF). Jaden is a division one offered football player that also led Asby to 19 wins with 13-14 points a game.  Norby is a physical 235 pounder with more agility than most his size.  Throw in the near 4.0 grade point average and you have an interest player .</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="774908" first="Adam" last="Tonsfeldt"]</strong> of Barnesville (5’6, PG).  Adam led the Trojans to 17 wins scoring 22 points a game.  One of the hardest working players on this team and a player that could put up 1,7500 points in his career .</p>
