Khaliyl Davis Khaliyl Davis 6'6" | PF Woodrow Wilson | 2020 State VA | 6’6” PF | Woodrow Wilson (#31 Overall)
Commitment: Sherando (JUCO WY)
Davis was a late bloomer out of Portsmouth that was a huge reason Wilson was able to win the state championship this past year. The 6’6” forward is a pogo stick in the middle who is quick off his feet and very explosive, allowing him to finish above the rim and protect the rim on the defensive end. He’s extremely mobile and runs the floor well, and with a couple of years to develop his body will likely be a division one kid when it’s all said and done.
Gabe Jimerson Gabe Jimerson 6'7" | PF Miller School | 2020 State VA | 6’7” PF | Miller School (#55 Overall)
Commitment: Cal PA (D2 PA)
Jimerson really took a big leap going into his senior season and was a steady option for Miller School throughout the season. He has a great blend of size and skill as a guy who can shoot it from deep and put it on the deck to create off the bounce as well. He’s heading to one of the most successful programs in the PSAC where he’ll have a chance to continue to learn and develop.
Kwaku Agyapong Kwaku Agyapong 6'8" | PF Middleburg | 2020 State VA | 6’8” PF | Middleburg (#54 Overall)
Commitment: Newmann University (D2 KS)
Agyapong was one of two Middleburg big men who committed over the past week and will head to Wichita, Kansas to play in the MIAA. He’s a guy who’s still raw on the offensive end but he has great physical and athletic tools to build around and should be a guy who can make an immediate impact on the defensive end. He’s athletic and plays with a good motor, and if he continues to develop he could be a steal.
Kai Kueper | 6’9” PF | Middleburg (#57 Overall)
Commitment: Clarion University (D2 PA)
The other Middleburg big that committed, Kueper is much different than Agyapong but he’s very effective in his own way as well. The native of Germany is a highly skilled stretch big with good size and decent athleticism, but he really thrives with his ability to knock down shots from deep and pass on the perimeter as well. He’s a guy who should improve with a college weight room and development.
Khai Seargant Khai Seargant 5'11" | PG Chancellor | 2020 State VA | 5’10” PG | Courtland (#67 Overall)
Commitment: Richard-Bland College
Coach Lacey at RBC gets another big time in state recruit as he picks up the 4C POY in Seargant who is a great culture guy who should compete from day one. He’s quick and shifty off the bounce with the ability to score it in traffic, he’s a gym rat who competes on both ends of the floor and is a playmaker off the bounce as well.
Quishaun Brevard Quishaun Brevard 5'11" | PG Woodside | 2020 State VA | 5’11” PG | Woodside (70 Overall)
Commitment: Mount Olive (D2 NC)
Brevard has quietly been one of the best lead guards in the 757 and he’ll head to Mount Olive where he fits perfectly the mold of the guards that they have recruited in the past. He’s a two way guy who sets the tone on both ends, he’s shifty and dynamic off the bounce and he’s a dual threat guy that can score it and create for others off the bounce.
Karee Smith Karee Smith 6'2" | SG Green Run | 2020 State VA | 6’3” WF | Green Run (#114 Overall)
Commitment: Shenandoah University
Smith was one of the top two way wings in the Beach District and will head to Shenandoah where he should be able to compete for early playing times. He’s a big time athlete that can play way above the rim, he’s a high motor guy who can lock down scoring wings with his size and athleticism and he shoot it well from the midrange too.
Mark Siegel Mark Siegel 6'4" | SF Loudoun County | 2020 State VA | 6’4” WF | Loudoun County (#144 Overall)
Commitment: University of Lynchburg
Siegel is a guy who could make a very good argument that he should have been ranked higher, but we unfortunately didn’t get to see him enough. However, this is a great get for the ODAC program with his blend of size and shooting ability. At 6’4” the lefty has deep range and is consistent from deep, and with his ability to shoot it he should have an opportunity to compete for minutes early.
Kenard Richardson Kenard Richardson 6'3" | SG Life Christian | 2021 State VA | 6’3” G | Life Christian Academy (#25 Overall 2021)
Commitment: Iona
Richardson is coming off of a great year at LCA where he was named the VISAA D3 State Player of the Year, and he capitalized on that by committing early to Iona and new coach Rick Pitino. Richardson’s mix of toughness, athleticism and skill set will fit well into Pitino’s system, and with his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor he should be a guy who could find his way into some early minutes there.
Ikechi Chantilou Ikechi Chantilou 6'3" | SF Life Christian | 2021 State VA | 6’4” WF | Life Christian Academy (#29 Overall 2021)
Commitment: Iona
It comes as no shock that Iona not only wanted Ricahrdson, but his teammate Ikechi Chantilou Ikechi Chantilou 6'3" | SF Life Christian | 2021 State VA who was also a First Team All State selection. Chantilou is a high ceiling guy who has natural athleticism and a skill set that has room to improve moving forward. He’s a slashing guard who uses his athleticism to hang and finish through contact, and he’s a guy who gets after it on both ends as well.
