1) TYRELL WARD | DEMATHA | OVERALL RANK: #5
Ward is a skilled wing with an intriguing blend of length and athleticism. He’s a rangy, versatile defender who can rebound in and out of his area. Ward is also a talented shot-creator who can score from all three levels.
2) JUDAH MINTZ | GONZAGA | OVERALL RANK: #7
Mintz is an explosive, skilled two-guard with some wiggle and an expansive scoring arsenal. He excels in transition and isn’t afraid of contact around the basket. Mintz is also capable of making simple plays and enhancing the performances of others around him.
3) CHRISTIAN WATSON | ST. JOHN’S | OVERALL RANK: #12
Watson is an athletic wing with good length and defensive potential. He’s become a reliable spot-up shooter from three but is most effective when he’s getting out on the break. Watson gained valuable experience this past season during which he showed some moxie at times.
4) DYLAN BRONNER | GEORGETOWN DAY | OVERALL RANK: #20
Bronner is a big two-guard who gets downhill and is a crafty finisher in the lane. He is very good at moving without the ball and is a solid passer with impressive vision. Bronner talks on defense and plays with a high motor, two intangibles that coaches adore.
5) JARED TURNER | GONZAGA | OVERALL RANK: #31
Turner is a dead-eye shooter with in-the-gym range and a quick release. He has only become more effective as a result of his recent growth spurt, which gives him the ability to shoot over the top of most defenders.
6) LOGAN BLAIR | ST. JOHN’S | OVERALL RANK: #59
Blair is an athletic slashing wing with length. He’s a smart help defender and a good out of area rebounder who likes to get out and run. Blair still has a lot of untapped potential and is a name to monitor down the road.
7) MASON JONES | COVENANT LIFE | OVERALL RANK: #61
Jones is a skilled wing with good size at about 6-foot-3. He’s a capable spot-up shooter and a good team defender who communicates and rebounds. guard with good size and skill.
8) RIHARDS VAVERS | ARCHBISHOP CARROLL | OVERALL RANK: #69
Vavers is a three-point specialist who recently arrived in the states from Latvia. The 6-foot-3 wing moves well without the ball and is always shot ready. Vavers is the quintessential heat check guy, capable of making several threes consecutively.
9) AJ THOMAS | GEORGETOWN PREP | OVERALL RANK: #73
Thomas is a lanky southpaw who can shoot it from three but is also a crafty finisher around the rim, especially in transition. He works hard defensively, will fight for every 50/50 and rebound in his area.
10) DARIUS DORSEY | RIVERDALE BAPTIST | OVERALL RANK: #74
Dorsey is a promising wing prospect who has good length and scoring prowess. He showcases good footwork and the ability to change speeds. Dorsey exhibits commendable court vision and can handle the ball well. He also hits the glass with purpose.
