1) DEVIN DINKINS | GONZAGA | OVERALL RANK: #17
Dinkins has gained valuable experience while playing significant minutes in his first two years at Gonzaga. He’s a reliable spot-up shooter who can play both on and off the ball. Dinkins already holds a handful of division one offers and that list should continue to grow.
2) CHRIS GAMBLE | SIDWELL FRIENDS | OVERALL RANK: #30
Gamble is a defensive-minded lead guard who can hold his own against anyone on this list. He’s able to take smaller guards in the post where he’s comfortable scoring efficiently. Gamble is becoming stronger, more explosive and athletic each time we see him.
3) AMIR DADE | ST. CHARLES | OVERALL RANK: #40
Dade is a crafty left-handed point guard who can shoot it well from the perimeter. He’s a good rebounding guard who can initiate the fast break upon collecting the ball off the glass. Dade has shown some moxie, demonstrating that he’s not afraid to take and make big shots.
4) MIKHAI ARNOLD | DOUGLASS-PG | OVERALL RANK: #44
Arnold is a dead-eye shooter from three. He is a tenacious defender who can guard multiple positions and can play both on or off the ball. Arnold has been essential to his team’s success over the last two years and his role should continue to grow next season.
5) CHASE WILLIAMS | ST. MARY’S RYKEN | OVERALL RANK: #52
Williams is a tough and crafty guard coming up in the Ryken program. He’s got a strong frame and applies good pressure on the ball defensively. Williams is a confident shot-maker who exhibits a calm demeanor in clutch situations.
6) CAM’RON BROWN | ARCHBISHOP CARROLL | OVERALL RANK: #53
Brown is a true floor general who understands how to set the table. He is an adept paint getter who prides himself on getting others involved. Brown’s offensive game is coming along and he’s already a very good defender.
7) WILLIE RIVERA JR. | ROCK CREEK CHRISTIAN | OVERALL RANK: #57
Rivera thrived as a key rotation player for a much improved Rock Creek team. He is a big guard who is a crafty finisher and a very good playmaker in transition. Rivera also did his due diligence defensively, showing that he can hold his own against some of the area’s best.
8) RYAN ARCHEY | GWYNN PARK | OVERALL RANK: #62
Archey is a promising young lead guard to keep an eye on. He’s an unselfish, skilled player who excels at making plays and scoring in transition. Archey has good positional size and is a good rebounder in or out of his area.
9) IFANIEYE LEWIS | ELEANOR ROOSEVELT | OVERALL RANK: #64
Lewis earned his stripes this year on the defensive end. The stingy guard locked up his opponents routinely. Lewis should only continue to improve as he fills out his lanky frame.
10) RIDGE PARKS | MARET | OVERALL RANK: #65
Parks is a super quick, fast point guard who can make shots or get in the lane and score. He’s starting to realize his potential as a lockdown defender as we saw throughout the season.
